    "You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that-and shudder. "James 2:19
    Yes faith alone saves you. That is what has been from the beginning. Faith produces works. We are commanded as Christians to do good works, but through that faith. You can do works in vein.
    Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent." John 6:29

    It is funny how Fahran never gets into the fact that Nabeel mentions Muhammad receiving from Gabriel the words and so on. Yet he wants to discredit the first writings of the New Testament. By circular debating... if he were truly reasoning he would come to the same conclusions Nabeel came to.

    "Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:16-20

    (Farhan Qureshi) has a very human perspective of the incarnation and the divinity of Christ. Jesus (who is God),(took upon himself) a human nature, but in doing so, it did not however stop him from being fully God, in other words, it never conflicted with his divine nature, or ceased him from being fully God, although fully human, in short, Jesus had two natures, all in one body. He simply applied unto himself a human nature, but, it never changed nor altered his divine nature in the process.

    Dear Nabeel, the prophecies, you didn't mention any of them and there were so many in the old testament and Jesus fulfilled all of them. Isaiah 7, Isaiah 26, Isaiah 35, Isaiah 53, Isaiah 62, Micah 5, Jeremy 31, Hosea 11, Malachi 4, Zechariah 9 y Psalm 22!!! Psalm 22, Psalm 22 that our Lord quoted, he quoted the beginning of it before dying on the cross, because by then that was the way to recognize the whole verse. Psalm 22...

      True, if it based on works then God made a mistake in the time of Adam.
      Adam and Eve made 1 mistake, if it based on works then they should just need to do 2 good deeds to be brought back to Eden, but no, they sin made them away from God till their death doesn't matter how many good deeds they've done before and after they fell to sin.

    Farhan has realised the sanatana dharma , the eternal way to reach the God...👍 this is just tip of iceberg to come out of exclusivity and have freedom... faith should never be tagged by birth but by realisation and knowledge.

    cont-- Jesus is, in short, the (God/man). (Phil 2) is pretty clear on this subject, the phrase (emptied himself) means that he gave up his divine authority and position as God or in the form of God, and took on the form or the position of a hand maiden or bond servant, but, although doing so, he still had his divine nature intact, it did not change. A great example of this is in (Gen 18) with Abram, and Sarai his wife, Abram literally saw God and even eat with him as well

    Im not going to say much. i will just let the word of God speak.
    "Consider Abraham: "He believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness" Understand, then, that those who believe are children of Abraham. The scripture forsaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: "All nations will be blessed through you." So those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith."

  • @demondagger19
    @demondagger19 14 лет назад

    @sulmanjohnk cont--A great example of him claiming divinity was when obviously Jesus said the words "I and the father are one" according to (John 10:30), this phrase paralleled him with God the father himself or made himself equal with God the father, hence claiming divinity for himself, this is why the Jews wanted him to be stoned according to the (Levitical Law, see Lev 24:16).

  • @BackToOrthodoxy
    @BackToOrthodoxy 14 лет назад

    You are not understanding. Let me ask you something. Is faith or observance of the law(even though no muslim obeys the law) more important?

  • @demondagger19
    @demondagger19 14 лет назад

    cont--But, Abram did not see God in his natural form, but rather, God came and appeared to him in (human form), but, it did not change his divine nature, in fact, if Abram did in fact see God in his natural form, let alone saw his very face, then he would have died " (Ex 33:18-20). No one (in Gods natural state) would be able to actually look at God directly, because of his holiness.

    prophet muhammad knew all the answers to your queries.He had the knowledge and concept of how The Father, Son and The Holy Spirit work as Trinity.But he skipped that part to be mentioned in Quran.You pls read about Trinity.

  • @BackToOrthodoxy
    @BackToOrthodoxy 15 лет назад

    Well if that is the case, then obviously he has not read the bible (like most muslims). because Jesus clearly says:
    "In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the NEW COVENANT in my blood, which is poured out for you. But the hand of him who is going to betray me is with mine on the table. The Son of Man will go as it has been decreed, but woe to that man who betrays him." They began to question among themselves which of them it might be who would do this. "

  • @BackToOrthodoxy

    They were called disciples. Oh, and the word Christian is in the bible 3 times. Which, by the way is approved by your Quran. You would think that if Paul was a false teacher, Muhammad would address him personally, but he did not. He took away the fundamentals of the truth in Christ. His death, burial and resurrection-through crucifixion as well as him being the Son of God, which is more clearer than anything.

    "For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it" James 2:10
    Even James agrees with Paul because they all are one in Christ. Which, Christ prayed for.
    "James, Peter and John, those reputed to be pillars, gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship when they recognized the grace given to me. They agreed that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the Jews." Galatians 2:9

  • @demondagger19
    @demondagger19 14 лет назад

    @sulmanjohnk Yes, very much so, what he's basically doing is presenting the same notion that most Muslims like to use, and that's that the incarnation made Jesus fully human, thus ceasing his divine nature or totally shutting it off (so to speak), completely. This however is completely false, scripture plainly teaches that Jesus was (both) divine and human at the same time, and his disciples, as well as his, enemies knew that he claimed to be divine.

    Jesus became a curse for us. Because we were cursed through adam. Through our sinful nature. No one could inherit the kingdom of God. That is why the Jews sacrificed. It was the forshadow of the final sacrifice. That is what they were all waiting for. due to what you stated, i can tell you didn't read the whole thing. Jesus ISNT a curse. He became a curse because of the sin. We have a sinful nature. Its proven in yourself. Everyone sins and fallse short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
