Thanks for the detailed review and glad you enjoyed the putter. Saying you will be adding it to your bag is the best compliment we could ask for. These putters have been a huge hit and getting more people aware of them is a big deal. We will look to monitor the comments and try to answer anyone's questions. Our site has a lot of details about our putters and we are adding new putters a few times a week, so please check it out.
Thanks for the review. I just bought a wooden putter from Embers today. It looks like a piece of art. Can't wait for them to build it for me. They are even addling my name to the bottom of the putter:) I'll send you a pict after I get the putter.
Very interesting to see wood back in golf. Brought back memories of the wood drivers and fairway woods. I learned to play on in the 80's as a youth. Good to see craftsmanship and a little art making a come back.
I remember my buddy had a wood putter, his dad won it, and it felt so nice to hit with good feedback on off hits. I often think of that putter and how it was one of the best I've ever hit.
Another great review! Back in my 20s when I thought golfing meant hitting a driver into the woods 5 or 6 times off of every tee box chasing that one legendary drive, I got paired with a group of senior citizens; one of whom was a sweet little old woman using a wooden Louisville slugger putter. She never drove over 80yds from the tee, but she was always dead straight and one putted every single hole on the course with that wooden putter. Not only did she demolish my score and teach me a lesson in humility, but definitely made me appreciate having a putter with the right touch around the green. I'll definitely be checking these out. Thanks again and keep up the good work!
It really is, but man golf can be such a great vehicle for introspection and self reflection. From the way you approach your own game, the elements you value and goals you set, how you choose to share the sport with family and friends, how you interact with the community from beginners to scratch golfers, and seeing how all of that changes depending on where you are in life. It's crazy to me how the game remains so timeless, yet the way I view it evolves depending on the season of my life. The 20yr old me blasting drives to nowhere and chugging too many brews seems so different from the father of four hitting nothing but irons to better learn the game and enjoy the beauty of the course with the kiddos, but they're the same person loving the same game for such different reasons. Golf truly is one of those activities that you'll never perfect, but if you're doing it right, you learn perfection was never the point to begin with. Thanks for the great content. @GolfBallAddict
Greetings from Scotland. Putter lamination construction looks unique and fantastic. Would love to try. Always makes me smile when reading about "milled" (i.e. machining i.e. big deal) and "soft" metal (yeah right). Bet this does "feel"
Those are some impressively made putters. I want to get into custom putters. I have a Taylormade My Spider. Always gets comments and attention. I bought a couple cheap beat up putters I'm going to refurbish and paint this winter. Not much golf days left in Indy 🤙
I have a nice Louville Louie blade wooden putter I love. I take it out every now and then instead of my Cameron custom shop putter. I don't put any better or worse with it but I really enjoy using a wooden putter. More people should try one they will be pleasantly surprised at how good they are.
Talk about beautiful, they look fantastic and I didn't notice too much with the sound. Distance control seemed a bit off but would be the same with every new putter in your hands. If was manufactured here in Thailand would bamboo or palm tree wood be used? I am from England where cricket bats are made from willow and stand the test of time, I am sure these putters would do the same.
My immature smirk when you said not everyone is a lover of wood. Lol. But I completely agree that putters these days lack the love. I got the new jailbird AI one cruiser from a rewards program and I was actually excited about it because I felt like it exhibited some love too. If I hadn't gotten that, I'd really consider this.
@@GolfBallAddict I wasn't 100% confident in the fitting I got that landed me with the jailbird, but I've had to eat crow (pun intended) caws it is amazing.
I have tried one out in the store, and I've also talked to many people who have come through my work with them. As far as I can tell, they're the only putter in the industry they can claim they can save you strokes. Every other putter for me is just personal preference. However there is a ton of amazing technology packed into lab putters.
Concerning pricing, please keep in mind there is a 16% off sale going on currently. That means a $300 putter is now selling for about $250 (and there is free shipping on all club sales over $200 and a free ball marker set!). That brings putter pricing lower than most mass made big name putters. Thanks
Is that putter a face balanced putter, meaning if you balance the putter shaft on your finger does the face of the putter point straight up to the sky or does the face point at an angle a few degrees?
The Timbertouch Putters are generally considered face balanced. They hang at about 5 deg off flat (not like a toe balanced blade where it might be 45+ deg from flat). This hang is nice for the average golfer that has a medium arc to their stroke. The far outside weighting helps this.
I think it might be nice if there was a little bit of a rounded bottom of the face to where it meets the sole. It looks very “sharp” and not smooth or “soft” in the transition from face to sole. Also, and I know this would be difficult and add to the cost, but if the sole could be contoured and curved a little instead of being nearly completely flat, that might be nice too. I’m not talking like the tri level bottom on a Fat Lady Swings, but something a little more like an older Rossie, or the newest Zebra. These Timber Tech Putterworks putters are beautiful putters.
Or maybe someone with a nice putting and chipping green and golf net and doesn’t want to have to tell people that they can’t be there and have to leave. Who wants crazy strangers, or crazy golfers, wandering into their yard?

Thank you Dean! I appreciate the putter so much. Glad it tested so well! 😎

Agree 100 percent. I just love the traditional look and feel. Takes me back.

That's awesome. Golf is such a weird sport. 😂

Forget the putter (LOL), I love your shirt!
Thank you very much. 😎
“Not everyone is a lover of wood” 😂😅 the milling really surprised me, pretty neat
Lol you guys are crazy. 😂
I was really surprised.

It looks pretty cool
I agree. Thank you so much for commenting and watching. It helps the algorithm 🤠😁

That's incredible. I would love to test different putters made with different types of wood.
The distance control is 100 percent me lol

I've heard those jailbird putters are incredible

Really excited to get my DF3 lab putter. What you heard about it?

Does the lie angle need to be adjusted a little flatter? I am no expert it just looks like a toe up at address
No it's me. I need to make some adjustments. It was my first time using the putter
@@GolfBallAddict I like to set my putter flat then build my stance around it. Oh this is Dakota by the way

It’s definitely cool but for the price of other modern putters its very pricey
Try the Honu putter, and compare to this putter. I think you’ll find it to be far better.
I'll definitely look into it. Thank you😁
Who has a fenced in yard with barbed wire at the top
People who raise 5000 dollars pigeons for racing. (Previous owner. Not us)
