I love this video but hope you don’t mind if I point out a small mistake in the subtitle.
6:38 and 6:45: In the video the subtitle is 藍色 which means blue. It should be 綠色(green).
The only purpose of this correction is that people who are learning Chinese won’t be misled or get confused. It’s a wonderful video anyway^^ Enjoy your Chinese learning!
Edit: 16:17: I don’t know if it’s an editing mistake but Vai is saying 我很累 which means “I’m tired”. (Same as 16:22) If you want to know the pronunciation of 熱(re, which means hot), you can go for Dave’s last video about Chinese language with Vai and find the phrase “really hot”→ruclips.net/video/g1mH9wGh-Ks/видео.html (2:36)

There's actually two types of Chinese characters! Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. Simplified Chinese characters have simpler (and lesser) strokes as compared to traditional chinese characters. For e.g, 爱 and 愛 (love), 猫 and 貓 (cat). However, they do share some same characters. For e.g, [可]爱 and [可]愛, [小]猫 and [小]貓. Taiwan uses Traditional chinese. China (correct me if i'm wrong) and Singapore use Simplified Chinese.
Fun fact: Japanese Kanji uses Traditional Chinese characters too!

thats the simplified verson while in the video 学 is diff since it’s in traditional form ! hope my explaination helps HAHA

You should do a difference between the Chinese and Japanese characters (kanji/hanzi) video. There are some that look the same but their pronunciation may be different, I think it'll be interesting

It would be cool if he did a kanji/hanja/hanzi comparison pronounciation video (with Erina, Vai...). I study Japanese and in one of the dictionary apps that a use (Kanji Study) it shows the readings of each kanji in all three languages, and sometimes it gets really similar, it's very interesting. Also, I wanna see Vai's reaction to hanja because Korean characters are way more complex than mainland hanzi :D

    • @Louminya

@@pedrovictorbritocordeiro9168 I don't know if you study Japanese by yourself, but "Japanese" kanji are Chinese so most of them have a "Chinese" prononciation (音 on) and a "Japanese" prononciation (訓 kun) and some have only "Chinese" prononciation. The 音 prononciation is the way Japanese people hear the Chinese character so that can be similar and different at the same time 🤗

Yes Mandarin is actually less similar to Korean compared to Hokkien or Cantonese which have better preserved the pronunciation of words from Middle Chinese (中古漢語), during which Korean and Japanese imported the pronunciation of these words from China.
      Eg “time”
      In Korean: 시간 Sigan
      In Japanese: 時間 Jikan
      In Hokkien: 時間 Sigan
      In Cantonese: 時間 Sigan
      In Mandarin: 時間 Shijian
      “Student”
      In Korean: 학생 Haksaeng
      In Japanese: 學生 Gakusei
      In Hokkien: 學生 Haksaeng
      In Cantonese: 學生 Hoksaang
      In Mandarin: 學生 Xuesheng

Agreed. It's not improper though, just an accent. However, the pinyin is incorrect. I understand they're trying to mimic the way Vai is speaking, but it's rather inconsistent, ex. "Shey" for age (supposed to be "Sui") but "Shui" for water (both pronounced very similarly)
