It's amazing that Disney would go from a Fastpass system that most people could figure out and plan around, to this mess where even professional Disney attendees are hard pressed to know what to do. I can't imagine how a family heading there for the first time is going to handle this.

I feel a little bad for Trackers. They have done an amazing job building their audience, primarily around the Disney experience and now Disney is letting them down with their greedy up charges and diminished guest experience. We are now finally seeing the impact in low park attendance.
We were just there a week ago Wednesday after not having been in a couple years and I thought you could only first book at 9am when park opened but he says he booked Tiana at 7am. No wonder everything was unavailable when the Magic Kingdom opened for us that day! Do you have to be a resort guest to be able to book that early? I was driving in from Cocoa Beach at that time but did have my VPN set for an Orlando site hoping when the park opened even though we were a little late we could still do it, if the app was location-aware for this. We didn’t get an opportunity to book Tiana the entire day. It never showed available; save for a split second at 1pm when I was tapping to schedule and then the app refresh changed to unavailable in 1s. It was bs. I want Fastpass back! We paid over $500 for just me, wife and 8 year old son and couldn’t get an opportunity to check out the latest attraction. Disney do better please!

I went recently and was able to get both a virtual queue for Tiana's in the morning and Tron in the afternoon on two days in a row. I think that it's intended to be able to get one once you complete the other but you just aren't able to have a virtual queue for both at the same time.
I’m sure multi pass will be great for anyone who has a long multiple day visit, plans their stay months in advance, or goes when it’s slower like now. I’m curious what it’s going to be like for people who plan a short stay, maybe only a 1 day visit, when it’s busy, or goes last min to the park and can’t preplan for months. My guess is that the popular rides you were able to get with genie + will be gone. I liked that with genie + all rides were up for grabs every single day. I feel like with multi pass it’s going to need the same planning that fast passes did getting your rides months in advance or missing out if you go last min to the park or just do a very short visit. I’d love to see this again when it’s super busy and with no planning other than day before for the choices
I would have to agree with you tim, it's better to take the boat to the parks instead of the monaral during a rain storm because most people will choose the monaral to stay out of the rain leaving more room avaliable on the boat
We are done with Disney too. Too much cost and not enough value. As someone who was a decade long annual pass holder it's very disappointing. The LL upcharges feel greedy and create a poor experience for the guest for both lightning Lane buyers and standby lines. The loss of many of the park, amenities and entertainment has diminished the experience. Given the historically low attendance and Disney's announcement at their quarterly shareholder review that they expect the next year to be even worse, we are not alone in our assessment. This year Disney expects to make no money off the parks. That's going to hurt since historically the parks make up 40% of the company's revenue. Hopefully the loss in revenue will result in some positive changes.

18:13 did some digging and found a post on reddit saying Cast Members will randomly do this as well as put out a dog treats to "Boney" the dog in the Graveyard scene. its the small things
I believe the reason you could book more was because your first ones had started expiring. From what I understand it’s more like ‘old’ fast pass where you have return windows and the multi pass expires when the window is over versus more recent genie plus where they seemed to still be useable after the window was up. This would make sense for why mansion used up your multi experience from Tiana’s also.
Love Disney and so much has changed there since I was a teen. Never boring to me. Love it Tim and Jen! I know your kids seem to enjoy the theme parks when you go
They should just get rid of the lightning lane/fastpass system. The line waits would be sooooo much shorter without them and this makes it so you do not have to plan your day which for me and many people can ruin their trips to Disney.
We were there August 1-August 10th and bought LL multi pass for 6 of our 7 park days. We had a group of 9 and I will say it was hard to manage 9 people especially if someone needed to cancel a LL or if we tried to switch it. And we never were able to have more than 3 lined up at a time unless we had a multi-pass experience because a ride was down during our time then we could have 4 lined up technically. First impression was we liked Genie + better but maybe LL multi pass will get kinks worked out and be better in the future!
We were there all day Monday during the hurricane and managed to do 9 rides without Lightning Lane. We had virtual queues for both Tiana’s and Tron. Definitely the best park day I think I’ve ever had. Wish we had run into you!

Next time, try doing them in chronological order. Don't skip the early ones. You can also mess with the selections and see if you can switch to earlier times for other attractions and try to squeeze more into the day.
I won't say never again BUT I don't think I will ever go back to WDW. Sounds way to complicated. I go for fun not to have to worry about getting on rides.

The new system is not great. I had to go to guest services 3 different times in two days to get it to do what I wanted it to do and I am very tech savvy. It’s just a confusing mess and the app isn’t properly laid out for all the options.
So some folks, for days when rain was expected, were reporting they were getting "recovery" LLMP for rides that may end up shutdown because of the weather. Maybe that's what happened?
Perfect transition from the end of the ad back to the video 😂 Used LL on Saturday and we also felt like it was “glitching” because we were able to use and book more LLs for multiple parks at the same time. 🤷🏻♀️ Confusing but still made for a fun day!

I haven’t been to Orlando since 2015 but like what happened to getting theme park tickets and then if you wanted to, getting Fast Passes/Express Passes to get through lines faster? All this app stuff seems annoying and overwhelming.
I remember riding Pirates when the treasure room Captain Jack sits in at the end had twinkle lights in it. Does anyone else remember that? I wish it still did that.
In New Orleans at Dat Dog they have a side dish with tots or fries that has cheddar cheese, ranch, and bacon on top so similar to that tot dish and it’s very good! I agree on a burger it would taste delicious! You can put those toppings on a hot dog at Dat Dog if you wanted to…so kinda similar. Recommend you try it if you’re ever in Nola!
I'm wondering if, with the storm that day, could that have been at least partly affecting the internet, and ultimately, the Lighning Lane, the virtual queue-ing, and the advance ride booking aspect of all of that, that all depend heavily on the internet behaving itself, and running as smoothly as possible.
The ride at Disneyland might be done but the rest of the queue is not. As of this past week they had no concrete down and still had it up all the way to pooh. Plus the outside of the mountain still has holes that need to be patched up
I swear my 8-year-old just goes to Disneyland he celebrated his birthday and I think he goes there just for big thunder mtn. We rode it seven times in one day ❤😊
DL hasn’t finished making the outdoor queue and is redoing the cement in all of critter country. That could be another factor. With D23 being this weekend, I’m pretty sure they will announce something there.
You didn’t get 2 extra lightning lanes, your first two were expired. You probably could have used them because MK was empty, but on a weekend in July you would have been politely turned away. Also, I don’t understand why so many people are confused by LL multi, it’s literally the same as FP+.
Hey Tim and Jenn. I was just watching a guy on RUclips named Issac Alexsnder and he wrote a book that I thought you two would like to know about. It is called "Oliver And The Lost Flame" it us for kids ages 3 to 10 but I thought you guys would to get it both for Oliver later on and Jackson now. It looks Hallowrrn based. Lol I just thought I would let you know if you didn't already
So I believe you can get both virtual queues but can only hold one at a time. So if you get one at 7 and use it before 1 you can get one at 1 for the other ride. But if your queue time to ride the first ride hasn’t happened by 1 then you can not get a second one. However I believe you can not get a second one for the same ride even if you have already used your first one.
Definitely a glitch because we were just there for several days and that was not our lightning lane experience with any of the parks (being able to book multiples beyond the three at once) we also discovered that you can only book one tier one pass for the day. Unless we were doing it wrong. 😂
My garage door would't shut two months out of the year because the sun would hit the sensor just right. Nothing they could do about it. I had to get out and shade the sensor with my hand to get the darn thing to shut. I could see how the sun would affect the sensors on Tiana's. We did eventuallly strategically plant a tree.
I don’t think the 2hr rule is still in place. If you use a LL OR one of your selections expires, you become eligible to book another. Because you had two that expired, you were able to select two more. I think you might need a redo day, seems it was being goofy for this day haha.
I think you just can’t have two virtual queues at the same time. So since you got called for Tiana’s and scanned for it before 1:00, you were able to book Tron at 1:00. So it’s sort of a gamble on whether your first virtual queue will be called in enough time. I feel like you shouldn’t be able to use Lightning Lanes HOURS after your time slot?? That seems to defeat the purpose lol. It’s already way busier in the afternoon and evening than the morning, so if people who aren’t even in the parks in the morning are all using morning slots in the afternoon, those lines are going to move soooo slow. I’m glad that it seemed like there was a decent amount of availability, though. I’d be interested to see the availability during a really busy day, since I have a feeling many people have started going back to school at this point.
I was there that day and my lightning lanes definitely glitched. I got a ton of them but towards the end of the day/late afternoon it wouldn’t let me pick any up even though the main screen kept prompting me to. Part of me wondered if they were slowing down my apps attempts because we had picked up so many of them
Seemed like the Lightening Lane worked well for you. I do not like multiple times walking back and forth across one side of the park to the other side to ride the ride you are up for. Gets old!
Now, does the new, "Multi-Pass System," replace or I guess kind of over-ride, what had been the previous, "Genie Plus System," that Was in place not so long ago??
It was very glitchy that day, buzz was down but wouldn’t add on a ll redemption so had to go to guest services and then tianas went down and the redemption stayed on after using but tried on another ride but wouldn’t work.
So did the haunted mansion multipass/lightning lane/ fastpass expire? Do they do that? I thought they expired but Tim seemed to think he’d still be able to get on it hours after.
Ever since Genie+ I have abandoned my 50 year old lifelong dream of going to WDW. I may have also after many dozen visits to Disneyland I cant stomach the experience any more. It breaks my old heart. Walt is definately rolling in his grave. On top of this the hotels are being systematicly dethemed. Remove the Magic Disney. Lose your best most loyal fans. Presonally I am counting the days until Epic Universe opens. I have lost hope that Disney is at all an accessible dream for average people. Thank you WDCo for destroying the dream. Your patience with it is beyond mine.😪

In a multipass video i think it's more helpful to show what LLs you are booking and what's available and more details about the expired ones Tim had? That was all totally brushed over so it didn't give us any information about how the system was working that day. A disclaimer of glitches at the start would help too. I'm wondering, hey what LLs sold out and how did he pick his LLs and such. This was more of just a park vlog than a LLMP video

So I believe you can get both virtual queues but can only hold one at a time. So if you get one at 7 and use it before 1 you can get one at 1 for the other ride. But if your queue time to ride the first ride hasn’t happened by 1 then you can not get a second one. However I believe you can not get a second one for the same ride even if you have already used your first one.

Definitely a glitch because we were just there for several days and that was not our lightning lane experience with any of the parks (being able to book multiples beyond the three at once) we also discovered that you can only book one tier one pass for the day. Unless we were doing it wrong. 😂

My garage door would't shut two months out of the year because the sun would hit the sensor just right. Nothing they could do about it. I had to get out and shade the sensor with my hand to get the darn thing to shut. I could see how the sun would affect the sensors on Tiana's. We did eventuallly strategically plant a tree.
I don’t think the 2hr rule is still in place. If you use a LL OR one of your selections expires, you become eligible to book another. Because you had two that expired, you were able to select two more. I think you might need a redo day, seems it was being goofy for this day haha.
I think you just can’t have two virtual queues at the same time. So since you got called for Tiana’s and scanned for it before 1:00, you were able to book Tron at 1:00. So it’s sort of a gamble on whether your first virtual queue will be called in enough time.
I feel like you shouldn’t be able to use Lightning Lanes HOURS after your time slot?? That seems to defeat the purpose lol. It’s already way busier in the afternoon and evening than the morning, so if people who aren’t even in the parks in the morning are all using morning slots in the afternoon, those lines are going to move soooo slow.
I’m glad that it seemed like there was a decent amount of availability, though. I’d be interested to see the availability during a really busy day, since I have a feeling many people have started going back to school at this point.

I was there that day and my lightning lanes definitely glitched. I got a ton of them but towards the end of the day/late afternoon it wouldn’t let me pick any up even though the main screen kept prompting me to. Part of me wondered if they were slowing down my apps attempts because we had picked up so many of them
Seemed like the Lightening Lane worked well for you. I do not like multiple times walking back and forth across one side of the park to the other side to ride the ride you are up for. Gets old!

It was very glitchy that day, buzz was down but wouldn’t add on a ll redemption so had to go to guest services and then tianas went down and the redemption stayed on after using but tried on another ride but wouldn’t work.

Ever since Genie+ I have abandoned my 50 year old lifelong dream of going to WDW. I may have also after many dozen visits to Disneyland I cant stomach the experience any more. It breaks my old heart. Walt is definately rolling in his grave. On top of this the hotels are being systematicly dethemed. Remove the Magic Disney. Lose your best most loyal fans. Presonally I am counting the days until Epic Universe opens. I have lost hope that Disney is at all an accessible dream for average people. Thank you WDCo for destroying the dream. Your patience with it is beyond mine.😪

Hey trackers, can I add some feedback and suggestions here? . In a multipass video i think it's more helpful to show what LLs you are booking and what's available and more details about the expired ones Tim had? That was all totally brushed over so it didn't give us any information about how the system was working that day. A disclaimer of glitches at the start would help too. I'm wondering, hey what LLs sold out and how did he pick his LLs and such. This was more of just a park vlog than a LLMP video
