@@PeggySue-RL Absolutely not too old for a dog! I got my mom a small dog when she came to live with when she was 86 and that dog gave her a purpose! She had something to care for again and to love right up until she passed on at 92. Get yourself a small dog. Although puppies are great I’d recommend getting a dog that’s maybe 2 years old from a small dog rescue organization. I’m 74 and I have 5 small dogs. They give me purpose and help to keep me active. I’ve also arranged for someone to look after them or find them good homes should I pass on before they do. They are all 5 years old. A dog is a blessing in so many ways. Don’t deprive yourself of their special kind of love just because you are 73!
@@christineboucher2501 Thank you for that. I don’t feel like I have anyone. My family doesn’t wasn’t me. My children don’t want me. We are very different. I am Christian n they just want to sit drink beer around the fire at the lake camp. I moved to Texas to get better health care. I’m sad all the time. I got rid of my last dog because my husband said I couldn’t take her on plane n he wouldn’t help me when I’m sick. Last year lost half my colon n have OSTOMY bag now. My daughter said Just go to nursing home n sign up for hospice. That makes you feel wanted. I live alone n the lady I was going to buy from said if something happens she rehome them She just wants so much for them. It’s a Coton de telear. The have hair not fur n don’t shed.
