It's not unique to Auld Lang Syne even though Auld Lang Syne is in itself. We cant help ourselves when we hear this being used, it's a universal response. Which makes me think personal interpretations of music could be quite useful in accessing deviations in mental health and rather accurately too. Have no fear you pass for perfectly normal, in your emotional reflexes at least.
