The non-centering servo drove me nuts for 2 months. Best servo is the AGF 6C. I run no servo saver and use the included aluminum arm. It centers every time. For the front arms, I drilled out the threading and use a jam nut to adjust camber. I also made sure all the ball cups were free. The slightest amount of drag will ruin your day. I did not like the front sway bar and took it off. We also found the wide rear tires produce a lot of drag in the corners and went to Marka 5s and 10s. other than ESC and motor of choice, our MRZ are identical.
Yeah the AGF, PN and GL servos are definitely solid choices. I'm ordering an AGF right now. Maybe I'll do a comparison. Gonna do a battery shootout video too!
Sic build! I think with so many great cars i would have a hard time deciding which to pick on race day. Question: how would you setup a PN chassis mod class car to run as fast or faster (not just fast but actually make those turns) than this or GLR build, is it even possible?
So the GL servo fits in perfect and mounts right up to the Atomic mounts ? I am having the same pulling trouble. For some reason more going left. This is only happening with my 102mm pan car. i have a 98mm mrz with mosler body for super stock, seems good.
Yeah the X06 and the gl are the same size. The x06 is a little shorter at the servo mount so you won't be able to use the servo saver but I haven't had an issue.
@@BASHERSUNITED Dude , worked , thanks for your sevro research. Had to cannibalize my old gla, but all good. With the Atomic servo i was running 35% steering on left and 90% on right , Now they are both at 90, super stoked. I come out of the turn (on my little wide L track at home) and it does not continue to drive into the wall, it straightens out. Can't wait to get to the big track soon.
Sounds like a video needs to be made. I like both cars. Both of them require hop ups and upgrades to make them good. The MRZ can be made pretty good with just Atomic hop ups but the GLR-GT needs an aftermarket chassis and pod spring upgrade from Reflex Racing. I'd still choose the MRZ as currently it's running better than the GT. Thanks for watching!!
@@BASHERSUNITED thanks for your super answer! I’m new in this 1:27 / 1:28 scale hobby and I consider all your tips from your channel, I would like to found a little club here in Croatia hope to find some state investors because it require a bit of cash😂
The make a t-fhss and an s-fhss rx for Mini-Z for futaba. Based on where you are you can get them at either parklane Hobbies, Brooklyn Hobbies or if online is your thing, kenon hobbies or micro rc syndicate.
Hi there.. i just build an atomic ex.. having issues with the car pulling to the left all the time.. at 100% power its undrivable just pulls to the left the moment i hit the gas.. any Ideas?
Well... this was a long time ago. I would check that you shimmed the diffs correctly and that the belt tensioner cuffs are both pointing the same direction. Pulling on throttle usually comes from something binding up. Check your bearings and check if the pin cuff on the cvd is not moving around.
Thank You !
Your videos are much appreciated !
That lil jawn fast af boy. Clean build too!
Can you do a vid of your MRX & F1? Especially after The PGP!

You're right though stay away from that KST.
Sub'd, love the 1/28th content!
More to come!
New to Mini's. What are the offsets for the wheels for this car?Jus ordered the MRZ limited, Thanks for the info. Really enjoying the channel!
+2 offset in the front and I'm running the PN R14 in the rear which only comes in one offset.

Hey awesome! Glad it worked for ya!
Yoo respect from Croatia! Do you prefer mzr or glr-gt? For your opinion which is better?

What are you using for receiver? I have a futaba T3PV radio and trying to figure out what micro receiver options I have.
