It has won over 280 awards since 2019'-2022 and the first African American female Master Blender Green's great-great granddaughter Eddy who is award winning twice now.

Fun fact: Most of the water filters used for hiking/backpacking have charcoal as a main component. Interesting that moved from water filtering in one country to liquor filtering in another.
I really enjoyed this whiskey. I like it neat, but one thing I enjoy is having it with ice. As the ice melts there are these different flavors that start to pop out at you. Someone else in the comments mentioned this, but I have to second that it goes great with a cigar.

I been drinking this neat for a couple of years, after about 2 minutes I taste cinnamon. I get notes of vanilla, maple syrup on my nose. The bite is not bad to me cause most things I drink are 100-112 proof. Throughly enjoyed your review.

I dig the flannel shirts and the high and tight haircuts,... I share their fashion sense. The hipsters are my favorite people under forty, basically the only people under forty that I can stand.

I might like the taste of the gas better also. It's a shame, some folks can not be honest in their reviews, because of kick back on who made this??? I'm still recovering from drinking TIN CUP. Maybe I should kiss Nancy. P' to get the taste out of my mouth, before tasting Uncle N. Premium?

Ethanol is way overpowering without a little water. Not a bottle I would buy again if I'm being honest. At least not at the $60 mark. Belle Meade is better, there I said it. Not a JD fan either. Medicinal is an excellent description.
Sorry, but for the high price of Uncle Nearest, I think there are Whiskeys that are better with a lot less alcohol burn and harshness. Water helped, but not much.
IMPORTANT: This is great storytelling, but please be careful how you word the story. Uncle Nearest was NOT one of Preacher Dan's slaves, but rather he was one of Dan's enslaved. He was an "enslaved" person, enslaved by Preacher Dan. How you word this is very important, as the people who were enslaved did not give themselves the occupation of being anyone's slave, but rather they were enslaved by those who participated in the industry of enslaving humans. Not the Slave Trade, but the Enslave Trade. How you word anything related to enslaved humans should put the weight of this history squarely on the enslaver and not the enslaved. In Africa, those captured and put into the Enslavement Trade against their will, are not called slaves, they are respectfully called the or those who were enslaved. Preacher Dan was an enslaver, not a master, but an enslaver, who enslaved Uncle Nearest, a brilliant man, who lost the opportunity to flourish creatively during his time due to the industry of enslaving humans, coupled with terrorism of African descent humans. To get the correct perspective, I recommend you tour the enslavement castles & dungeons of West Africa to get the correct narrative.

I really like this one. They have a white and Green label. The white is easy to find the green is really hard to find.
