Great video (as always)! You mentioned you can press DTF transfers more than once, If you have a heat press that is not large enough to cover the desired artwork area, can you combine transfers by pressing one transfer and then press an additional transfer increasing the size of the design?
1:55 what if i have a pair of shorts and im unable to put the entire thing onto the platform like you did. what would you suggest doing with a pair of shorts with a zipper
use a combination of pressing pillow and shift things around until you get a nice press in all areas. DTF can be pressed multiple times without any ill effects.
@@DTFSuperstore how much would you all charge to heat press and dtf my design to the shorts if i were to send you a mockup. i already have the design on the parchment paper
Is there such a thing as non-teflon heat press pillows? Since I have pet birds in the house, I don't use anything teflon because if over heated it can quickly kill my birds.
We're not aware of anything like that...many heat presses use teflon as their protective coating for their platen. It's is a widely used product in the direct to film industry.
@@DTFSuperstore Thanks. First - I found a YT video on how to make heat press pillows using the fabric used for making ironing boards. Second - my heat press doesn't have teflon in it's construction at all, which is why I chose it.
Why don’t you use the same method as screen printers? Create a pillow with a sunken groove for the zipper to sink into and level out the garment when pressing?
Thank you SO much for this video. It's extremely helpful. I only have a normal iron to work with but this still really helped me
Glad it helped!
Thanks
You're welcome!

Yes, you'll see us do that in an upcoming video you inspired. 😀

These standard pillows work great, no need to make custom ones.
Wow, thank you very much! Glad it was helpful.
