5:51 Currently, if you're at level 7 against someone at level 11, you have a 15.4% statistical disadvantage (health and damage). With scaling, that disadvantage will become 42.6%. It's like being level 2 against a level 10 right now. Now, we have a 5% improvement over base statistics, and with scaling, each level is a 10% improvement over the base. The disadvantage is trivial, as each brawler gains more for each improvement, it harms lower-level brawlers.
Great to know that I now have to get some power 11 brawlers. I could still use power 7 brawlers fine to deal with power 11s in club league but now it’s too big of a detriment. I’d prefer playing it by getting all my brawlers to 7, then 9, then 11 😢
I also don’t like the change in stats because now I cannot remember how much each brawler does approximately so scenarios I would’ve survived otherwise gets me killed
@@Utopia7281 theoretically, they will all do the same percentage, so remembering amount instead of actual numbers could be help :)

The math is just so wrong, you said that it is only 10% on the base stats so it doesn't scale like clash royale, they're just doubling what was gained before so a lv11 has 100% more stats than lv1 instead of 50%, with that is pretty easy to know that the 15.38% advantage that lv11 has over lv7 doesn't become 42%.
You get 10% per level so how tf did it even get over 40% on a differential of 4 levels?
The actual advantage new lv11 would have over lv7 is 25%, which is the difference between lv 1 and lv 6 and not lv2 with lv10
All I can imagine now is Shelly absolutely annihilating the boss test 😮

If you think about it, nerdy squeak actually has a very small nerf, because of the attack animation, enemys can now see exactly how long they have before it explodes

Looking at what Supercell did with the card evolution system in CR, I'm still not sure what to think of hypercharge and whether it was even needed 😬
Not a single change is needed, but it for sure makes the game more fun

I remember when he got his damage buff a while back, I immediately mastered him after that so seeing him get another buff is definitely amazing. Him and Gus are my favorite brawlers, actually.

If there's one thing I'm a bit iffy on, it's gotta be the fact that these 6 brawlers are pretty much going to be the only playable brawlers until the next hypercharges released. Additionally, I'm kind of irritated that you have to wait 2 weeks if you don't want to spend an extra 4600 coins on cosmetics for F2P players. Overall, good job Supercell.

I think you're greatly over reacting to how good hypercharges will be. Don't get me wrong, the brawlers getting them will definitely be a good bit stronger than they were before, but saying that they'll be the only playable brawlers is just not true.
The biggest flaw of hypercharge is its duration so if you can keep control of the map you should be safe. My biggest concern is that second gear insted of being an end game item is unlocked at level 8 and its going to cause even bigger coin drought.
I just got 1 question when is this update coming out?
I feel like one of the biggest problems with hypercharge is that with the level changes, the difference between power 10 and power 11 is going to be so much higher now, since it isn’t just going to be an extra gear.
We definitely need a coins buff after this update.
I have a question though, can we get the profile icons and pins and sprays which come with hypercharge for bling or not?

I feel like Colt is going to be insanely good with this update. Since Hypercharges stay active when you hit shots I feel like Colts speedloader gadget along with the fact that he can now have 4 of them will make him insanely strong.

Colt still wouldn't even be able to charge his hypercharge in high levels. This just makes him more broken in noob field and still useless in high levels, and the balance team will never buff him again because "muuuhuuhhh he's strong at 400 trophies lol"
Balance changes is the other thing that makes me really exited on new updates. I'm looking forward for those hypercharge and want to see how it will effect the meta

I think the level scaling changes will be detrimental for the F2P player base, and it will encourage P2W grinding and splurging in order to gain a HUGE unfair advantage over most other enemy players.

@@bluemoka8992 the upgrade change literally is just that, you can't really say a whole lot, same goes for the gamemodes. He shares his opinions on the 100% honest update review that comes out after some weeks
Even though the 10% buff to all upgrades for brawlers isn't necessarily changing anything,am i the only one that feels really weird about it?just seeing the brawlers with almost double hp and dmg is SO weird,i know no interactions change but it'll be weird to the eye for quite a while.Gonna take some getting used to.
It feels like the beta update, when Brawlers barely passed 1000 health and the game was in portrait mode

I think hypercharge should charge only when you got your super. This way it will be more obvious that people are preparing their hypercharge.

What if they make a mythic/epic gear that's better than what we already have on some brawler and everyone will have to buy that one instead? What's the point of upgrading brawlers to lvl 11 when you already have both gear slots but the brawlers don't have hypercharge yet?

About the gadget gear, i think it's pretty cool! It's not the best gear for _every_ brawler but its just, good enough for some of them and lets us have fun strategies (cheesing will be much easier now)

For Hanbok Mandy, the heart comes from a signature hand gesture in South Korea where they make a heart with their pointer and thumb
My only gripe is that I have to get used to a whole new set of numbers for brawlers' HP, damages, etc. Gotta know how to calculate those things quickly in-game, too.

My only concern is that they need to buff the star powers that give specific stat buffs such as demolition or sponge or shield gear to balance it out with the higher stats of brawlers

I think they should change hypercharges to be like in Overwatch with ultimates. You can’t charge your ultimate while you’re using it. It feels like some brawlers could remain hypercharged for a long time in a fight which would make it really unenjoyable to play against.
Seems crazy to me that if we don’t care about cosmetics, we’re forced to either waste 4600 coins or wait 2 weeks. Also the stats increased for each level will only make the game less f2p friendly, 10% by level is the same as cr, and we all know how painful it is to have such a disadvantage

Something totally different, idk if it was pure chance of not. But since the day before yesterday I’ve gotten 5 drops total. The first drop was a legendary, the second was mythic, then epic, super rare, and just today it was rare. I think there might be some sort of “rotation” on which rarity of drops u get.
Also, from all drops I got specific brawler stuff from. (Sp, spray, gadget, skin etc) all of them Thusfar have been of Janet which I find odd aswell.
I love how all the buffs are either to tanks, brawlers who support tanks, and brawlers which are countered by tanks
My initial impression of hypercharge is that it would end up being the same as Clash Royale's Evolutions (the purple colour played a part in that), where it would be gamebreaking and pay to win. But hypercharges seems slightly more balanced than that, but they don't seem that interesting... gadgets star powers and supers are all unique buffs that make the characters feel different and play different and serve different roles, but hypercharge is kinda all the same, you're just stronger.
Shelly hypercharge super would pretty much defeat any possible enemy that gives 100% charge rate at close range. Not like that's anything new. Just a bit amplified.

Buffing Fang is insane bcuz I've been seeing Fangs popping off for the past like month. I'm not happy about the buffs and nerfs from this patch at all tbh. If Edgar did get more health then I'm happy about that but still overall bad balances imo. The Hyper charge stuff looks really cool and actually all the other changes. Only disliked the buffs and nerfs

@@mrplop38 no, was just talking about the stuff I put in brackets as like the overal stats increasing for each brawler shouldn’t do too much other than maybe affect your gadget/starpower choice since in the brawl talk dani did say how the non percentage based gadgets and starpowers would be updated at a later time

me personally, as a hyper fang, nani and piper player, this update will be my favourite of the year, plus im planning to buy spike supercharge, but the 2 legendary skins and 2 mythics are things i didnt expect this update, all for it though

Brawl stars needs to bring back the resistance gear because there's brawlers who stun (poison and the other brawlers that reduce HP regen / attack damage /healing reduce) feels longer and will be use full now after they got removed and replaced by the vision but keep vision still it's good that who ever uses it and has it equip everyone can see them in bushes4:52
Kairos if you see this could you consider mentioning this idea to supercell, say you get a new brawler and you were excited to get them so you put a bunch of resources into that brawler but then after playing them for a day or two you don’t like them and you just wasted all of your Resources on leveling them up. There should be a way to undo that and get your resources back while the brawlers power level goes back down, but only within like the first week you unlocked them so you can’t do it anytime. This would be very helpful for free to play players 👍
I love the new wasteland skins! As a Splatoon fan they really encapsulate the chaos theme! Siege which is my favorite mode is returning and they'll look so cool in there!!! Can't wait to buy the skins!

15:18 hanbok, not “hann-bak” 😅 its hard to explain in text, but basically the han part is like saying the end of “chan”, and bok is said like the bo in “boring” and then adding a “k” sound at the end (한복) as a korean person and avid fan of this channel i just felt like correcting, i hope this doesn’t come across as too confusing or rude. if anyone has a better explanation feel free to comment XP i really love the lunar new year skins this year though! mandy’s is so cool and the sailor moon-esque janet skin rly makes sense :0 she would totally be a magical girl in an anime
They should give healing ability or star power to hank as he doesn't heal while charging his bubble and requires you to charge your bubble before attacking so there's little to no time to wait and heal
I remember Frank saying that the devs wanted people to have mains. Maybe it’s so expensive so players will only have them for 1-3 brawlers
Byron is basically back to when he was broken becuase they buffed he's reload a few updates ago and now his supercharge rate

If all brawlers get a 10% buff per level that means some of the star powers get nerfed because if the star power increase their max hp they would be a lot less worth it and it would be a lot less hits same for the defense gear.

Hypercharge seems cool overall, if maybe a bit overpriced for me since I've been struggling to float around 10k coins ever since we got the box b gone patch, not quite as fond of the levelup stat buff, but I'll live with it
