Update: FY13 they had 1.8 million for woman’s track and field, and 1.3 million for men. I imagine it’s near 4 million combined now based on best info I’ve found

They used to go to Sunriver/Bend in Oregon in the pre-season. But Sunriver is only 4100' elevation whereas the area they were this year near Park City is 8000' elevation.

2nd fiddle? Cole Hocker is an American who ran for Oregon less than 5 years ago and he was recently the Olympic Champ in the 1500m🧐. Who was he 2nd fiddle to in that race?
@@MaxBowyer That wasn't nearly as big a factor 6 years ago when Cole Hocker was champion. I'm not saying a born American won't win this year, but currently 7 of the top 10 in the individual men's xc rankings are international, that definitely wasn't the case 6 years ago.
