Question, so when should doctors start checking hormones? My western medicine minded said to me a couple years back I’m still too young to be talking/thinking about it. We don’t check hormones after age 42 or so. I’m 41 now. Also, my thyroid is being poorly treated with no full thyroid panel since 2015 till today.
Dr Anna says: "Monitoring hormones is essential for health, especially from age 35 when changes may signal hormonal imbalances, such as mood swings or weight gain. Key hormones include estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and DHEA. If you notice unusual symptoms, consulting your healthcare provider for hormone level tests is wise. Recognizing and addressing these imbalances early can significantly impact your well-being." - Dr Anna's Happiness Team
