Mikio and Ohmura really got the best chemistry I have ever seen with any guitarists. It's really fascinating how they can harmonize perfectly in sync and almost become like one embodiment of music. Truly amazing musicians. Truly deserving for the name of the Kami Band. If you want to hear another Ohmura's song, I would recommend you Holy Tomorrow. In here, you can hear Ohmura's deep backing vocals louder so I think you might be interested with it. The one doing the vocals in here was Atsushi Kuze. He is the current vocalist of a Japanese Power Metal/Visual Kei band Jupiter. If I'm not mistaken, you already reacted to a Jupiter song but that was Arcadia wherein they had a different vocalist. If you want to hear a Jupiter song with Kuze's vocals, I recommend you Zeus I: Legends Never Die. If you want to hear him outside Jupiter, I suggest you Concerto Moon - Savior Never Cry. He got a nice range and a distinct power metal voice. Great reaction!
You're so right! They are definitely God level musicians. Holy tomorrow we actually did react to on a BABYMETAL live stream we did some time ago. Sick insight on the vocalist. We definitely want to hear that.
They are the backbone of Babymetal. Babymetal have all the best sessions musicians in Japan. What's great about them, they don't overpower each other but instead supports each other. Mikio Fujioka is Takayoshi Ohmura teacher in the same school. Kitsune Up 🦊🦊🦊🤘🇯🇵🇸🇬
Babymetal doesn't have ALL the best sessions musicians in Japan, don't know where everyone got that from ? They do have SOME good session musicians, not ALL and not the BEST.
@@jonasw3945 It's entirely opinion based. You hold an opinion counter to a lot of others, doesn't make yours or theirs any more or less valid. If you enjoy others more, then good for you. @@nickthompson6390 No, he clearly said a statement implying they are somehow the best of all Japan with no proof, at this point it is not said as an opinion but he makes it seem like a fact. @@jonasw3945 good lord, that’s pretty much much the epitome of opinion. And again, everyone has one. Opinion supported by objective fact, becomes something that could be determined to be right or wrong. Musical talent is subjective in many ways though, someone can perform a piece that is technically quite difficult and sounds just awful. Is that good or bad? That’s a matter of opinion. And even if this was a objective conversation, your response to it thus far contains nothing to critically support your own argument.
Good reaction, this was taken a couple years before Mikio's passing. It's the same concert where they did the popular video version of Hill of Wisteria (Although not named that yet). This song is actually Takayoshi song from years before. It's cool to see how he lets Mikio in on his solos. Like the beginning of the song is different because Mikio puts his own twist on it with his whammy bar, that Takayoshi never uses. Yuya Maeta was the drummer at this show. He has also drummed for babymetal and is the drummer in Kari Band. Hideki does come out later in the show and uses Yaya drums for a few songs (ie Hill of Wisteria etc..). Takayoshi writes a lot of songs in English (his first album was over 10 years ago) I think he actually sings well and pronounces better than Kuze (Jupiter) who is also a great singer with great range but kinda just flubs the English words and still sounds good lol. The original versions are sung by English speaking singers.
Great way to get my blood pumping in the morning Alan & Eric. I believe (if I am not mistaken) that the Vocalist here, Kuze, also did vocals for Jupiter. Unique voice for sure. Have a great Friday, and thank you again for a great reaction.
Man I feel so bad for Ohmura! In every video of them you can see how close him and Mikio were. How much chemistry they had. Like in this video when they finetuned their playing style perfectly to match the other. While sweeping they were smiling at each other like "Do you feel what I feel?" I can't imagine what it's like to loose a soulmate like that. I think it would break me. 😢
Oh most definitely. It is always such a shame when any band member leaves but to have someone you had that much of a relationship with pass away. I can imagine the heartbreak
That show was a phenomenal jam....They sound like the best 80's band that you never heard of on this one.....Mikio was a genius, and Takayoshi is always amazing...Chech him out with Liv Moon...you can hear him singing on the live 'Phantom of the Opera'....cool stuff....I'm sure you can imagine that Takayoshi was broken hearted when Mikio died...there's a video of him doing a tribute with the song...Hills of Wisteria...and he basically cries all the way through it...kinda tough to watch actually...
@@dicodec From the same show that you reacted to here. check the video titled..Takayoshi Ohmura Band Solo...One of the best instrumental metal jams ever...imo...Also with Hideki on the drums...So basically the entire Kami Band....
There's a reason that Ohmura calls Mikio "Sensei", besides Mikio actually being a professor of guitar. It was a great relationship they had. As evidenced in The Hills of Wisteria video with the recording of Mikio and Ohmura playing Mikio's guitar. They truly enjoyed playing with and learning from each other.
Hadn't heard this one. Sounds great. Ohmura's track Never surrender with the same singer has some cool live clips that I think even have "Leda" from Babymetal to. Is cool that they always seem pretty chill and like they having fun. Reminds me of playing with friends in highschool (except I was shit in comparison) :)

Hello, friends! The guitar solo is strong! It took my breath away. The voice of the soloist was not impressed. Except that the ending of the song was good. I would like to hear them from the audience. This group clearly has a drive. I, already, once again notice that such songs have a strong effect on the audience, at a concert. Thanks for the reaction, guys. I'm always interested in listening to you. Yes and more: there the drummer at the beginning led the rhythm well.
Hey Allan.., much love for u and please react to one from Galneryus latest album... for example " The Followers ". Plzz.., before the upcoming release of their new album
