Hello my friend you will find the majority of food cuisines of different regions of india made in Ahmedabad. This state has the tastiest foods from the whole of india. You will also see many foreign cuisines here. When l go to other regions of india they have their own local cuisine which is very nice but not much else, whereas Ahmedabad has it all. Enjoy your stay.
Temples look amazing. You were lucky that guy took you for an inside tour. Any meal that starts with a plate of onions that they put on your table, can only be good 🙂

I think so many have converted from being JSK to Jay Swaminarayan, the sect is a mere few hundred years old and people then to forget original gods of ours and beliefs are far older, they are rich due to donations as I said many have converted! The funny think is they won’t say any other gods name other than Jay swaminarayan

For authentic Gujarati thali, please visit Vishala restaurant and Rajwadu restaurant. There are many others now.
