I just bought a filofax saffiano in teal. I am loving it for my cash envelopes. I am a cash-only type of person. My problem was I was borrowing from other envelopes because I never had the envelope I needed at the time. Like I would stop in Lowe's. I would end up buying something but didn't have my household envelope. So I carry all of my envelopes and most of my cash.
Yes! Borrowing from my envelopes really threw me off last month. I'm getting more comfortable carrying around cash (I'm so paranoid!) and not using my credit/debit cards. It's really like building a new habit, but I'm enjoying it so far! 😊
It will start to lay flat the more you open it up and use it. It’s the same with the Finsbury. Popped up all the time until I started using it regularly.
The flaps will lay flat after a while. It's new, so it needs time to break in. As for uncomplicating your stuffing...you already have a way: simply take the rings out to stuff and then slide back in after
Yah, I'm going to track my debit transactions this month to work out a fair budget for next month- I don't use credit and I don't carry cash. And I'm going to give this budget cash envelope system a try. Ideally I'll be seeing some cash left over in each envelope and one will be labeled savings and I can just move all the left overs into there along with whatever I had planned on saving from the start. :-P Have you followed Dave Ramsey and started following some of his advice? If not him, maybe you could do a video sharing who helped inspire You to get your finances organized and under your control? Good content, subscribed!
I liked using my debit card in the past, but I got the info stolen once and it made me paranoid 😭 So I'm trying cash envelopes now, but if it doesn't work out...I might give debit another try. We'll see...I'm still figuring things out as well! I actually learned about Dave Ramsey towards the end of paying off my student loans! But his stuff gave me the push to submit that last payment (I was worried about my credit score dropping). And it also inspired me to save up for my car! 👏 But that is an excellent video idea! I'll try to film something soon...just gotta organize my thoughts or else I'll ramble all day about finance stuff 🤣 And thank you for watching/subscribing...I appreciate the support!
Ooh, I love that the rings slide out.
Same! Makes the wallet very versatile!

Great video, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the review! I just ordered one in Poppy. I'm so excited to get it and start the cash only system! Does the wallet lay flat after using it?
I order mine. Waiting anxiously for it.

Also, I haven't ordered cash envelopes yet. How many will it hold? Thanks!
Couldn't help but notice you're a fellow Texan.. New subbie!
Texans unite!! 💓 Thank you for watching!
I have this wallet in pink the more you use it the flatter it lays
I have the same Pink One too - it lays flat now.
