That crowd needs to STFU. This is one of the purest, most painfully beautiful Pearl Jam covers I've ever heard and FELT. It's so fucking distilled to the essential that it's hurts. Appreciate it.
Aaron Lewis is pound for pound one of the MOST talented vocalist in existence (and this is coming from a die hard Eddie Vedder fan). Keep doing what you do Aaron!!!
So that invalidates my appreciation of Aaron Lewis' vocal talent? Is that your logic? You probably sit around at night, snort Molly, and tickle your ass with chicken feathers. Get back to your cubicle and work on TPS reports.
Patrick Petrie, that's called emotion and feeling what you're singing. Not spitting lyrics out just to get through the song. If you don't like it and know you don't. Why'd you come on here for? Just to bitch? Constructive use of time.
+jeff darnell Find the live in London show that is all in Black & White. Crowd is made respectful. Not talking at all during him playing. I think talking and screaming is disrespectful as fuck
+kustified actually I was born in 91 and I love his music, so much raw emotion, I don't think it has to do much with the age group,,, pretty sure most people of most ages can appreciate this music, not the kind of shite you hear nowadays, I think it's something to do with American crowds bro, all just drunk knobs with a lack of respect I'm afraid... Mentioned earlier on a reply to this was Aaron's gig in London, at a venue called bush hall I believe, watch that, if I were Aaron I'd prefer gigging in the UK 😄, with no knobs "wooping" in the middle of his songs and just general annoyance :)
I was born in 78- love all of his stuff - was in the audience during this 2014 fundraiser concert, last years, and will be there this upcoming August 13th once again - he's real, plays real music, and even though he kills a ton of covers, unlike most new artists, especially country stars, he writes his own.......
I agree... I'd be fascinated to watch him play live... He's got that nice raspy one of a kinda voice and he can hit notes some guys can't... He's a awesome artist... One of my faves!
Can we all take a moment to appreciate this performance and to recognize that this is one of the greatest songs EVER written......and take even longer of a moment to recognize Eddie Vedder as one of the greatest songwriters OF ALL TIME!!!
4:36 I love that he messed up that chord change right there, just makes me smile when someone as successful as that messes up it just makes them more real to me.
Bro, that's a double negative right there... Essentially your saying you've never heard a song from Aaron that was any good.... :) but it's okay I forgive because I know you don't mean it that way.
Missed out the best part! "I know some day you'll have a beautiful life, I know you'll be a star... In somebody else's sky but why, why, whyyyyy can't it be... can't it be miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine"
Aarons voice is so incredibly powerful and he has co.plete control and makes it sounds so effortless. At the Staind shows, ofren times Aaron would come sit on the edge of the stage to play and everyone would get quiet and just listen to him... this crowd should have done the same. I love listening to him! ❤
it's too bad he stopped early he cut out the best part imo "I know someday you'll have a beautiful life, I know you'll be a star in somebody else's sky But why, why, whyyy can't it be, can't it be miiine"
Why don't people be quiet and listen, if I was there it would upset me because all the noise!! 🤨 Great performance Aaron Lewis, I'm a huge Pearl Jam fan and Staind fan!! 💓😊
When I saw Chris Cornell on his final solo tour the crowd would not shut the fuck up it was so annoying. I told the group in front of me that I didn't pay to listen to them jabber the whole show.
Good for you …I would have been pissed as well. How blessed were you to see Chris 🙌🏻💜 Open air shows are one thing, but to catch an artist / band in an enclosed environment for sure folks need to show respect in not blabbing / yelling through the whole show. Alcohol, etc… though and look out 🤪
one of the best videos of mr lewis doing this song ive seen on the net and ive seen pretty much all.... comments are right just sit and listen cheer later . and also right that I believe I havnt heard anyone better who can do this tune otha than the original but I also say this does top it at points and better than pearl jams original .. my opinion of corse !
Anyone know if hes a half step down for sure? Sounds like it just wanna be sure. Also, he got a capo on there? I cant see cause dudes head is in the way
Half way through and I'm ready to jump through my speakers and strangle that crowd. I'm just trying to paint this house and listen to Aaron cover pearl jam...
One of the greatest musicians in rock/country history singing a great song and the whole crowd is talking. Man I would've told everyone to shut the fuck up and stop ruining my experience!!!
What? I know some day you'll have a beautiful life I know you'll be a star, in somebody else's sky. Why why whyyy can't it be..why can't it be mine? Is my fav part and he left it out. Strange. Probably tired of the crowd haha
This man is one of the greatest singers of all time, and almost all of his crowds are super disrespectful. It's a shame. That's what happens when idiots drink.
That crowd needs to STFU. This is one of the purest, most painfully beautiful Pearl Jam covers I've ever heard and FELT. It's so fucking distilled to the essential that it's hurts. Appreciate it.
Absolutely nailed it every perfect word thank you for MAKING me share when I didn’t want to otherwise
They won't. i used to paly in a band. Drunk people don't care.
Ikr. Pissing me tf off
That’s exactly what I was thinking. STFU.
@@Markcroriganscuz except he didn't even finish the song,.
Aaron Lewis is pound for pound one of the MOST talented vocalist in existence (and this is coming from a die hard Eddie Vedder fan).
Keep doing what you do Aaron!!!
+BDay77 Yeah, you said that, because he sang few pearl jam songs, and you're a die hard Eddie Vedder fan...
So that invalidates my appreciation of Aaron Lewis' vocal talent? Is that your logic?
You probably sit around at night, snort Molly, and tickle your ass with chicken feathers.
Get back to your cubicle and work on TPS reports.

Eddie Vedder? Aaron Lewis? Hush... let the artist work
BDay77 Definitely!
One of the best rock ballads of all time! Great job!
I have to agree with yall, seeing Aaron live should require QUIET and listen time!!!!
I wish I could find some videos of him singing without having to put up with the crowds.
Poejj watch the ones were he is England
Poejj I have a WHOLE concert recorded from Jackson. It was AMAZING, and a very respectful crowd. 👍
Why are they being so disrespectful? Man I would feel so lucky to see Aaron.. did they not pay to be here? Shut the fuck up already!
There’s several videos where he will tell the crowd to stfu y’all rude and shit
People are so ignorant. Have no true appreciation for music just there for the social event. Sad
Love how he “sang” the fretless bass part in the intro 😂❤
I find myself time and time again coming back to this vid. One my favs hands down.
Pearl Jam is hands down my favorite band. What else can I say other than my hat's off to you Mr. Lewis for this beautiful rendition
Dylan Put
I AGREE!!!
HE'S GOOD AT SINGING!!!
(THE CROWD IS TERRIBLE THOUGH... THEY NEED TO BE SILENT...)
Why is every crowd he plays for seem so uninterested? How could you not just sit there quietly in amazement?
+jeff darnell Find the live in London show that is all in Black & White. Crowd is made respectful. Not talking at all during him playing. I think talking and screaming is disrespectful as fuck
Because he hit a specific age group only. Born 82-86 max.

Yes sir !! What a truly gifted singer !! What a voice , it still gives me chill
Why are people talking instead of just listening to Aaron!! Why the hell are they even there!
Great job as always Aaron 🎶👋
I agree... I'd be fascinated to watch him play live... He's got that nice raspy one of a kinda voice and he can hit notes some guys can't... He's a awesome artist... One of my faves!
One of the saddest songs ever written.
I remember St Charles Missouri 1992 Cadillac Jacks thanks Aaron
the crowd sucks badly.
Roger Hancock if i was there i would just shut the fuck up and love the music!!!!
Anyman who can sing the way he does should be all over the radio by now. Love his voice
got the chance to see him in MN. loved him since his Staind days. and as a bonus finally know what the words are. :)

Amazing vocalist, haven't heard a song he sang that didn't suck. He is a Legend in his own right.
Bro, that's a double negative right there... Essentially your saying you've never heard a song from Aaron that was any good.... :) but it's okay I forgive because I know you don't mean it that way.
I 100% agree! I have yet to hear a song he murders!
That sucks .... you mean
This crowd just ruins this ..... this is beyond amazing
Missed out the best part!
"I know some day you'll have a beautiful life, I know you'll be a star... In somebody else's sky but why, why, whyyyyy can't it be... can't it be miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine"
I was literally waiting for that part
It would have run him out of air with that tempo xD

Yes!
Exactly I found myself singing that section at the end in anticipation for Aaron, didnt happen, but still this was a great cover
Exactly! That's my favorite lyric in the song and he just ends right before it!
Perfect tempo and surgical vocal execution.
Awww, so 90es. I can even see the summer dust in front of a festival scene and smell the beer.
Great job by Aaron, this is a challenging song to cover.
Arron is so friken talented. Wish he would have had more commercial success. Amazing talent
You are the greatest singer in the world, love you Aaron!!!
He's definitely underrated man, so god damn good and his covers are brilliant. His cover of Nutshell is absolutely perfect
@@wtf_floyd1742 I love his cover of Nutshell
Nicely done sir. Long time fan.
Amazing live ! He rocks it everytime ❤
Just shut up and let him sing he’s probably the best voice of the 90s. His voice has always blown my mind powerful yet controlled yet semi abrasive
Amazing guitar (playing and design as well)
Aaron/Stainds covers are great ! (not this particular recording ) but the covers of Sober and Comfortably Numb are fantastic
Why don't people be quiet and listen, if I was there it would upset me because all the noise!! 🤨 Great performance Aaron Lewis, I'm a huge Pearl Jam fan and Staind fan!! 💓😊
No ending!!!? Guitar sounds tuned high. Anyone know what tuning it may be?
No respect from that crowd
Great voice people like this should be more noticed than untalented pop artists
Did that exact bass thing at the start, 3/4rd at the local pub, Always works for laughs
When I saw Chris Cornell on his final solo tour the crowd would not shut the fuck up it was so annoying. I told the group in front of me that I didn't pay to listen to them jabber the whole show.
Please tell me you stabbed every last one of those motherfuckers in their goddamned throats.

he's bringing country back to country better than most (country )artists today half ass decent pearl Jam to but not quite god bless Eddie Vedder.
Shade tree Assassin Eddie Vedder is a douchebag liberal piece of shit, so Aaron's performance here is 10x better at minimum...

Such a great cover!
Nailed It!!!
As a guitar player.. I appreciate the dudes head in the way of the chords The while effing doing song Wtf. Love Aaron!
Sometimes when I watch Aaron Lewis play I zone out and think I'm watching Joe Rogan.
😂
That made me smile and I needed it :)
A7a s7 💀
حلوة منك ينوح
Amazing voice!

people wonder why I quit drinking. i had no idea how much more fun I would have. try it, perhaps not firstly, but before you know it...
i absolutely despise drunks, they show the absolute worst a person can be
Only thing that sucks about it is being surrounded by idiotic drunks.
Justin Edwin you can drink without being a idiot ya know.
I used to drink...I still do but I used to too...
It's a struggle, as you know. But every comment like yours pushes someone on the edge in the right direction.
Holy cats, I didn't think I'd like this but I am digging it. Be you Aaron, always :)
Some people just don't understand the talent people like Aaron have. With the willingness to share it with eveyone.
I miss the Aaron Lewis from the original Staind album
Anyone know if hes a half step down for sure? Sounds like it just wanna be sure. Also, he got a capo on there? I cant see cause dudes head is in the way
Who the hell could possibly give this a thumbs down? It has to be people with zero music appreciation .
Aaron Lewis. I have never lived anyone as muchas u. U can sign anything u are awesome the crowd. Needs to go, just come play for me 😝😆😘😘😘
sounds better 1.25 speed
Just did that hahahaha
Slowly but sure
How do you do this
Ddarke11 perfect the way it is
I'm way behind but yes. So much better at 1.25
I don't understand how this crowd is talking right now. Unf'n believable.
really rude ass people! but this ole country boy sho can sang!
He has such a voice, he could have been one of the great grunge voices if he was around just a little earlier
either you sing along, or you look at it. yelling whooooooooooo just ruins it for the rest
Beautiful song🥀👍🥀
LOVE LOVE ❤️
I mean, I know people are excited and rightfully so.. but damn, let the man play the song.
some adshole had his head right in the way so i couldn’t see the chords!!!!
Dead!😂
A to E during the verse then C to Eminor during the prechorus. Then Eminor to D then C on chorus
He also has the guitar tuned way down. Like C or B
Half way through and I'm ready to jump through my speakers and strangle that crowd. I'm just trying to paint this house and listen to Aaron cover pearl jam...
He nailed this song 15 years ago. Family Values mutha fuckas!
The fake bass note at the beginning was hilarious
But.. I know one day you'll have a beautiful life I know you'll be a star!?
Love it!
#bumdrums for life. Nice hat!!
Loved it!
One of the greatest musicians in rock/country history singing a great song and the whole crowd is talking. Man I would've told everyone to shut the fuck up and stop ruining my experience!!!
I need his shirt ..yesterday
He hit the emotional part. Just needs a little more vocal timing. A little of key and a little slow.
It's a shame the crowd didn't give the respect this cover deserved.
This is something else. On a different note he really looks like John Winchester here.
Awesome Job
he killed it!!!!!!!!!
he missed out the best part of the song-" know someday you'll have a beautiful life"
Wow!
What? I know some day you'll have a beautiful life I know you'll be a star, in somebody else's sky. Why why whyyy can't it be..why can't it be mine? Is my fav part and he left it out. Strange. Probably tired of the crowd haha
Didnt he do Simple Man?
Anyone that has unliked needs to have a mental evaluation and a good one !
Aaron Lewis is Da Man!
Yesssss!
He didn't do the best part of the song at the end! Glad there are other versions where he does.
+Katalyste this crowd didnt deserve it lol
Katalyste crowd didnt deserve it anyways ...
Crow was annoying but hes a pro. Besides give them a break your supposed to have fun its a concert.
Beautiful 😞
This man is one of the greatest singers of all time, and almost all of his crowds are super disrespectful. It's a shame. That's what happens when idiots drink.
every thing ellsie! is all good!
A true performer. Though the noise of the undeserving audience he pulls off this
❤💙
Good but nobody sings this better than Eddie.
Aaron should climb the rafters and really bring out the "EDDIE"
He didnt nail it. He just did a good karaoke version
I used play in a band. Playing for drunks can be painful.
badass!
Eddie would be proud.
Respect.
Wheres the guy with the machine gun at this gig,....would of done this crowd a favor.
"biruuuuu ruuuuu" sheets of empty canvas...
