I went on a shopping spree like this in 1988 and ended up with a PRS Custom (when PRS was new) and a Rivera stereo tube amp. I think it was $2500 OTD. These days, I'm happy with an import guitar (perhaps with new pups) and a Helix. I'm not going to take a $4k-$6K custom shop guitar to a bar gig. And I can't be bothered with schleping around real amps any more. My guitar sound would benefit a lot more from $10K in guitar lessons. Still a cool vid, even though I've recovered from GAS.

Fun, but not an easy question. I've got what I believe to be great analogues to most of what I want.
Amp: Vintage (because you've given me the budget) AC-30. Worn-in, but not beaten Celestion Blues
Guitar: Rickenbacker with toasters. Haven't really played any, so I don't know if I'd go the smaller 325 or the 360.
Pedal: Tonebender Mk I. Modeling covers so many pedals these days, but this baby doesn't always play by the rules.
(This is for personal use; in accordance with your hypothetical question: Otherwise, we'd all get an a "burst" and a dumble, then resell and get our 'only slightly less reasonable gear').
Great addition to your already fantastic chin-wagging sessions. That slide sizzled, Jonathan! Very tasty Baxter, like Mary in some sort of... flaming horse-drawn vehicle!
    Enjoyed.

I think, in terms of content, the idea of creating rigs that aren't necessarily budget specific but task specific isn't something that happens from the bigger RUclips channels. This is kind of a "My ideal rig" but what if you were challenged to "My ideal rig for a home blues guitarist" or "My ideal rig for the weekend warrior" where it isn't about most expensive. You could say "Practical" so it isn't low budget or "Ideal" if budget was less of a concern.
Just something this made me think of.
