Ahh, so lovely... And so inspiring. Thank you again. Am creating a growing space for a single Paphiopedilum- not a miniature, but the wondrous mottled leaves stole my heart . The plant is about a year from blossom - but the leaves ! ! !
Miniature ... now that is something I can get into. rungsuriyanum 😍😍What a wonderful collection of slippers there, Marc. Certainly livin la vida in your growspace 👍🏼 thank you so much for taking part, I appreciate your time and video, thank you 👍🏼
Thanks, Not a fanatic Paphio fan but these I really like. May second, I finally get 2 Paph. helenae albescens to add to the group. Saw a few participating vids already, now I need to find the time to see the rest.
@@TOEKIEWORLDMarc I could not do it all in one day either, Marc! Meanwhile, I had nothing scheduled yesterday, just to be sure that I can get to all the videos, but then life decided to say 'hold my beer!' 🤪😅
I followed your potting mixture last year and thankfully all my paphs have come through the winter. Now I must move them to the bottom shelf and begin to water more often. I think all your Paphiopedilums are displayed so gracefully in their matching pots, and the miniatures in theirs. I'd be terrified to have your canhii, when checking on Google "Paphiopedilum subgenus Megastaminodium is a subgenus of the orchid genus Paphiopedilum. It was erected to accommodate the single species Paphiopedilum canhii". You don't make life easy for yourself Marc - your level of understanding leaves me speechless, great Master.
Humble lady, I love my displays too. when in the house, they need to look nice I think. Also I have an immense respect for the way Asians have grown orchids for almost 2000 years. I love their culture and have witnessed and enjoyed some of it when I was there. I wish that pace of life could be more appreciated here, not constantly rushing and (almost) no stress. Hope your Paphs keep on doing welll, rewarding you with a lot of flowers.
Great video…I love the miniatures. Those are the ones I’m struggling with the most. Thanks for sharing your potting mix and methods. I’m definitely going to give it a try. ❤
Excellent carecollab video, thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge with us! I was first introduced to miniature paphs through DeeDeeChannel. I love the paph Helena that you re bloomed with three spikes, so gorgeous 😊! I saw your unboxing from China and yet to check their website. I also subbed to your channel. Do you have a video update from your unboxing from China? I love those Japanese pots. Can you please send the link to the website to buy?😊
Thanks, for subscribing, much appreciated. An update will be coming soon on the China import, as I'm preparing for several follow-up videos, I don't know when they will be on my channel yet. I'm in Europe, if you are too, send me an email (marctoekieworld@yahoo.com) and I'll send you some links. If you're in the USA or Canada, check out Amazon or ebay.
@@TOEKIEWORLDMarc giving you problems in what way? Maybe I can help with some advice? I post my orchids pictures and videos on Instagram but I don’t do tutorials. Maybe I should 🤔

I did a lot of research on their growing habitat and conditions. I also saw how the helenae grows in Vietnam en felt the conditions. Good luck.

I also love and grow miniature Paphs. I don’t have Canhii but I have Thaianum. Thank you for this video ❤
Thaianum is giving me problems. But the they came in last year with no or broken roots. Happy growing.
You should do some videos on your orchids too.

Not in front of the window..........I need to change that I think 😁
Green leafed ones can take more light than the greyish mottled ones. Palaenopsis light would be good.
@@TOEKIEWORLDMarc 😁that's as ambiguous as Vanda light
@@YnseSchaap you'll notice the difference when you put them in Vanda light. Keep them out of full sun, like you do with your Phals.
