No judaísmo não se trabalha no sábado. Em Israel, só fica aberto os hospitais, bombeiros, polícia e exército, que são as profissões que salvam vidas. Também não se como carne de todos os animais , alguns animais não são comidos porque a Torá proíbe. Exemplo: porco e camarão, que são bem consumidos aqui no Brasil. Também não se come sangue.
