I thought the same thing. After I already made the head stock. He wanted a extra string on the G string. But I didn’t make headstock big enough for another tuner. It looks like I might be making him another one.

Just that one doubled-up string gives it a very big airy sound. Really cool. Bet it'd be great in Drop D or an open tuning

Thanks. It also has a piezo under the saddle pickup in it. The customer is going to do the wiring for that. Should sound even better.
