    Thanks for posting, Sarge.
    I am amazed that they stayed in the came when so far behind.
    It's surprising to me that they had an endless supply of tanks!

      Yeah, they had a lot more fuel income and they also crippled our fuel supply in the north by using the new subterfuge beacons to disrupt our supply lines. We also lost way too many tanks leading up to the late game, which was bad considering how many Tigers they fielded. Tough game, GG!

    A thought comes to mind in matches like this - is this game we are playing for relaxation/escape after work more or less stressful than the work itself? And if the answer is less, what kind of mad work are we doing then?
    Anyways, great video as always Sarge, you guys really made me believe until the end.

      Lol this made me laugh, matas… we literally all loaded this game up after getting home from work. We only had time to play one match and it was a brutal for sure haha.. we made a ton of mistakes though, it was definitely winnable!

    Good video and gameplay.
    Few tips, sometimes also happens to me and my team that we get tunnel vision at one VP, in this case it was mid.
    Next time try sending some forces at top or bot just to distract enemies and make them split their forces enough for you to try and recapture mid, your advantage is that you are playing premade and they are probably not, so sending some forces on other sides to distract sometimes works pretty well.
    Also when they camping one VP hard try smoking it really hard and send some forces to recapture it, if enemy player is not paying attention for few sec it may cause free cap for you because in smoke his units wont shoot automaticly and you will be safe + you had Wizbang to bombard while u cap in smoke.

      Hey Dzoni, great comment and feedback man, appreciate it. I think you’re right, we had major tunnel vision on the center VP. Our entire army was basically consolidated in the center and we were forced into a purely reactionary position. We needed to counteract their attacks by avoiding head on engagements against their Tigers by pushing the north and south, as you suggested. That is the best way to relocate their armies without directly engaging.

    hey sarge did you or the boys realised that the northern fuel was being syphoned for more than half the game? you guys where basicaly gaining 20-30% less total fuel though the match becose of that.
    you gotta allways be on the lookout for that, if not deal with fast, it can get out of hand insanely fast!

      Such a good comment, cris_p! My brother wasn’t aware of that mechanic up at the top. This is something I will go over with him. I knew there was a Beacon on that side and I destroyed one but I just double checked and didn’t realize there was a second one. Good observation, it’s definitely something we have to neutralize much earlier as it really adds up over the course of a long match like that.

    After you said "another tiger," things got noticeably quiet and i don't think anyone noticed that as a bad sign for things to come 28:55
    Later you said theyre coming with all they got, but it was too late.
    When their probing attack came, it was treated as a normal back n forth and too much was commited and damaged early on (now knowing their were Tigers waiting too).
    Also, do you think dropping the whiz-bang and joining the front line would have helped? There was a later moment that it could have got behind a trio of tanks. ~33.50 although the later barrage did seem helpful too

      Very true, Austin. We took a couple really bad engagements with our tanks, overcommitting and losing a lot of our army value. We were also way to consolidated in the center, playing too reactively and without any real control of the terrain.
      I definitely could have dropped the Whizbang when I had 3 hellcats for a push to knock out the Tiger. I think it would’ve served a better purpose at that point. Tough game.

    Good game! When win rates for allied are 42%/ 43% and axis are 57% and 58% in 3 v 3... its obviously an up hill battle!

      Yeah, I saw that as well, WR for Allies are much lower. We still could’ve won though. I think we made some critical strategic mistakes as a team but some good lessons learned. Thanks for tuning in Logan, GG!

      @@SargeGG 😂 not that much most of us on discord are allied player and facing axis challengers most of times and get slaughtered ,some of them saying waiting for 15 to 18 minutes to finally find some pool allied to destroy

    Would you recommend completing the campaign first or just into some slow skirmish matches for a first time player

      Hey brother, first of all, welcome to the community! Great to see new players joining in. In terms of my recommendation, it really depends what you’re looking for. If you want to eventually start playing multiplayer, I would say skirmish mode is the most similar experience and will help you gain familiarity with the factions and maps. If you’re interested in the history and a story line, the campaign is a good place to start. In my opinion, the team game multiplayer mode is where this game truly shines. It’s the best in the strategy genre.       @@iFarsight Oh I see what you mean, it’s kind of annoying. Sorry about that brother! There is a way to remove all those thumbnails on the right side. Try clicking on the “theater mode” or “default view” button again. And then hit full screen.

      @@SargeGG no, the thumbnail is at the bottom where the comment section and video info was before. apparently not everyone gets this "update" at the same time. it started changing for people about a month ago from the google search i did

    a lot of people are saying axis are to strong/op now, i say coh3 is in its most balanced state it could be, notheing feels like it does more than it should, while there is units that are less desireable, they still viable in their own terms.
    the problem lies with alliedboos being braindead and not realising you need strategy to win matches, not just atack order+m1 and then cry when things don't go their way.

      this exactly! Allies were literally OP for months since 1.6 balance is finally good and fair. These alliedboos need to adapt instead of using their old cheese strats. Love the game since 1.6 i hope Relic doesnt nerf too much or allies will be OP again

      Yeah, this is my favorite update so far and although there are some balance changes that need to take place, I really like the overall balance dynamic. The Late game in particular feels so much better now.

      Also remember that we can debate qualitative differences all day but the WR are still heavily skewed towards axis, about 43% allies in team games to 57% Axis. Same amount of skew (or more) when axis mains were complaining about “allies OP”.

      @@JohnstyPonst i faced ICB with bunker spam and i was easily able to conter it with ASC airstrikes along side zook teams, haven't had a chance to see the ghost army tho, but times i did it got countered hard by flare spam and recce sections.
      as for the winrate, thats the dumpest example you could take, winrates means notheing, thats how relic does its balancing, by looking at winrates and saying "lets nerf X and Z while buffing M and N" and ends up overnerfing or overbuffing, such as tear gas becoming useless or reinforce planes being nieche at best and a resourse waste at worst.
      i will not deny that the game isn't perfect, but currently it feels the best it could be, no boys spam recking everyone, stuard spam destroying everything, no sheck jagers blasting infantry into oblivion, no booby traps destroying 90% of a sherman's HP.
