Real-time functionality is what bothers me about Maschine! Hell, Ableton Live Push 2 is so simply its ridiculous. I am thinking about selling my Maschine Studio and going with the Ableton Live.

I am happy to confirm, with the firmware update, the komplete kontrol MK2 does indeed transpose in semitones, while in MIDI mode. The MK1 did not. Just in case anyone else was wondering.

This looks so effin' sexy. They somehow made the multi-colored LED's not look like an effin' clown threw up all over it. That and just the design/ergonomics looks really really on point. I can sense my digitakt is getting a little nervous, seeing as it can't sequence external midi tracks without completely locking up every 15 mins and having to power cycle it.
what I would love you guys to do is to is able us user to alt slide and copy patterns or even to just use the copy and paste function in the Maschine software to copy and paste a pattern been waiting for years for this simple function great upgrade to the controller tho (Deciphered Audio)
Looks stunning. If you can make custom performance macros on the touch strip that would be amazing. I hope Traktor and Maschine will be hitting 3.0 next!

Nice, but why put the repeat button so far away? Why not make it so you can program one of the finger pads as your repeat button? Or move it closer or more adjacent to the finger pads?
I'm new here and just starting out and want to make music. Is mk3 just the software? Does this come with the maschine mkII? Will this work with FL studio? What should I get to get started? I see alot of youtubers use the Akai Professional MPK Mini MKII. Should I get this and something like the Akai Professional MPK249? I'm not looking to spend a lot, but willing to put down a few bills if I have to. Right now all I got is a nice mic and FL studio.
Can you lock a sequencer into a scale when sequencing external synth or Vst? Like when you put some steps into sequencer and than pitch steps up or down in relation of scale you lock into?
Does he have a special stand for the MK3? It looks like there are 2 little feet on each corner, and it looks great at the same height as the KK. I wonder if the feet/stands are built in or this is a separate purchase?
These new products are amazing, please do the last step and upgrade maschine software with all the features we want for so long. I just purchased the Machine Mk3 and I have a audio technica at-lp120 usb turntable. What wires do I need to sample directly into the Machine Mk3? The turntable has a line and phono switch with a rca wire (red & white) hard wired to it already.

Will it be more stable? I have a i7, 32 gig ram Mac, made 3 tracks and it was choppy. 4bars each. I know all the tricks for getting audio not to do this, but still kept doing it. So will I have to worry about this?
So what about Maschine Studio? That was (and on the website still is) supposedly the flagship, yet now the mk3 is taking its place? If so, why is it cheaper? Its a cool product but it has me confused with regards to the overall range.

I went from maschine mk1 to maschine mk2 to maschine micro to maschine studio .. you guys better implement that lock function on the old maschine studio since the "ALL" button on it is completely useless you could use that one for it, oh yeah maybe you can make the software less cpu hungry. Add an audio interface and onboard hdd w/OS or provide a small hdd that the software will boot on. Do the same for Maschine. Allow stand-alone and computer connected modes to flow seamlessly and I'll buy two since I can replace the laptop & Maschine app on the road. Also, additional routing modes in popular DAWs when loading the plugin would help. It would be nice if we had the option for Maschine to load with 16 tracks per group on tracks that receive midi and audio input from the plugin.
I have question. As a keyboardist, can i use this like a sound card? I mean.. to use at the same time a midi keyboard through computer, and this MK3 like a sound card?
Bought Maschine mk3, it is a little confusing switching from Ableton to Maschine to be honest, I wish there is hover tooltip for Maschine just like Ableton, to teach basic concepts and help new users ramp up quickly!

Totally agree, did that . using a maschine MK2 and push 1 side by side. best of both worlds. Maschine running as a VST in ableton.
