You need more oil for your popcorn. Or you can use clarified butter (Ghee), that is how I make it.
And keep it moving, the fire is much hotter than a stove.

that sandwich was destroyed lol the second was undercooked. the burger was half raw. the eggs had ashes in them from the firewood that gets in the air. the waffle was half raw. the hotdogs looked like a success though

you are supposed to do all the cooking gadgets over the hot ashes or charcoal leftover from the wood, if you do it over the fire you will get everything burnt outside and raw or cold in the center and full of ash

Been using these as long as I can remember and we always butter the bread. We call them Mountain Pies where I'm from.
I've been using most if these items for 40 years. Other than the burger press. You HAVE TO BUTTER THE BREAD THST WILL TOUCH THE CAST IRON. AND YOU MUST FLIP REGULARLY. I love these. Great video Taras!☝️
