the lack of empathy being shown to a girl who was raped and ultimately left homeless is ridiculous. yes, mira lied to viola which is unacceptable in a relationship and viola had every right to break up with her but sometimes people make mistakes out of fear and that doesn’t make them undeserving of help in times of need.
Obviously Linda doesn’t like Mira after what she did, but as a police officer she has a duty of care to help a vulnerable teenager who has been coerced into prostitution! I get that the writers wanted to isolate Mira for this storyline but there is no way people would be have to unsympathetically and continue to let Mira endanger herself 😬
Viola almost saw Mira but It didn't happen. In some ways I'm glad that Linda didn't say anything to Viola but she still has a right to know about Mira's situation
I'm not a social agency agent, Linda your a policewoman, could at least see what your partner had said it's dangerous for Mira to stay outside. They are dragging Mira's misery longer, I'm sad even they'll not get back with Viola at least someone could offer a compassionate way or advice to Mira. No one is perfect, when you are hopeless and sad no one to talk or be with, people do desperate and harm themselves more.
