valdamaer I miss Queensland for this sole reason. We had a massive house with a bali hut and pool that was affordable. We had to downsize our lot by 50% when we moved to Sydney. Residential prices man. I don’t even pay our rent, my parents do baha.

Yeah, every time you get something addressed to you that isn't personalised, (and let's face it... who hand writes letters or puts actual stamps on these days?) it's terrifying as you're barely able to survive while oscillating between skimping on food to pay for petrol and skimping on petrol to pay for food, and then you receive some "you owe me money" letter that will mean you get to eat one meal a day for a week (and when I say eat, I mean rice and 2 minute noodles...) because you simply can't afford it.

2.try think of what colour nothing is (don't say white or black because they are colours/shades)

(3:55). I’m pretty sure that the post is referring to the inhumane conditions which exported livestock are subjected to, which has been a topical issue in Aus (on and off) for a while. The argument being made is that “some” people care more about exported livestock rather than our native wildlife. I’m not sure how you connected that to the whole asylum seeker debate, but okay... (I enjoyed the video otherwise).

Good point regarding foreign aid. Here in the US&A people have been complaining about it for decades, because they think we give the money because we're being nice to needy people in foreign countries. (And who wants altruism? Yuck! Nobody!) What we're actually doing is buying political influence. In your example, Indonesian farmers may be getting fucked by the influx of Australian agricultural goods. Maybe. I don't really know if there is a net positive there for Indonesia, but the point is that money is buying something.

I have a question. Seems like a lot of people complain about internet speed in Australia. What would constitute slow internet speed in Australia? I live in South African, not even a remote location but in Gauteng. with a 10mbps line, on a lucky day, I'll reach 1mbps, the average speed is around 850kbps.
Where I used to live in NSW my average was around 200-300kbps, a good day 550kbps. And it wasn't very reliable, internet would drop out all the time. But I moved and have it way better than most people in Aus.
Now get 2.4mbps average and rarely have any problems. Speedtest says its at 23mbps dl
Paddywhack _ Wow. That really is slow, might be understandable that most places in Australia are extremely remote, however, most people live in cities. Seems like that is something that still needs some attention.
@@Chris-bn1vt I'm late to this party but my current speed sits at about 12mb/s in Queensland. Used to be 5mb/s but then the whole NBN (look it up) plan happened and we were upgraded. Some people got shafted like my friend who lost 1mb/s in DL speed but for the most part it was an improvement from before. But in comparison with other countries it's still a bundle of shit.
I pay $70 per month for 12mbps internet speeds and I only reach that speed on a good day.
