Also what's your favorite washable marker, I haven't bought one yet and I'm worried I might get one that doesn't wash out. Also another question I have is, what's your favorite way to let your creations rest/cure, do you place them in a plastic bag, ziploc bag, or wrap in saran wrap? So far I've been wrapping mine tightly in chic wrap and letting it sit in the sun. Some day I want to be good enough to maybe sell a few at our local weekend markets for when my husband retires. I'm still quite the hobbyist and I've sold other stuff but hopefully I can get good enough to keep us fed. Any insight and advice would be greatly appreciated. Happy 4th. 🥳💥💯❗
Hi Barbara!!! My favorite method is ice dye for sure!!! It’s easy and you normally don’t have to worry whether or not your project is saturated enough ☺️ I use Cra-Z-Art and Crayola washable markers and as for batching, I always mix my dye with urea, which keeps the dye from drying out, so I let me projects sit on the rack where I dye them in the warmest area of the house. My ice dyes go in a Rubbermaid tote though so there’s plenty of dye catching room ☺️ That would be so cool if you did flea markets. I’m actually going to do one next week 😁
Hi and thank you! Using the dye in its powder form definitely requires more dye and you also have to add ice so it is a little more expensive but the results of an ice dye project are so unique and definitely a preferred method of mine. You just can’t get the same look with liquid dye. I hope this helps😊💜
This is the first time I have seen a mandala from the collar, I love it! Your designs are always so beautiful! I saw you used bubble gum, does it usually go that purpley or did it split or combine with the other colors? I was looking at it for a light pink shade.
It definitely combined! It does have a tad purple in it I think but it did combine in this video 😊 I’m happy about it but I’m also missing it a little in this shirt 💗

@@RiahsTieDye If you look at the orange that seems to go across left to right and then picture that as the mask. The dark parts are the eyes through the mask. I'm seeing the face of the ninja turtle. Does that help you visualize it a little more?
