Thanks to everyone who suggested topics and voted in the June Audience Topic Poll. We'll be back next Thursday (July, 6 2023) with a story on our winner: "Bioships/Space Whales." A big thanks to Sane Canadian for suggesting the winner! If you've got a topic suggestion for the next poll, leave a comment below.
I can hardley wait to see this in one of your upcoming films to be made about the wonderful personalities you have created to tell these stories that are seeming to make the big story of hope for humanity in whatever form necessary. I feel blessed to have found you. You have opened my mind in many ways. I live in a 7 story apartment and tell everyone who will listen about you and your writing and how you tell your own stories using your own voices. Thankyou you are fantastic
Wow, Hartley, I'm humbled. I feel blessed to be able to share these stories with people and doubly blessed when people share that they appreciate them. I'm surely grateful you're spreading the word 🙏😃 Kind messages like yours only encourage my chronic writing habit 😉
Cheers, Stephen! So glad to hear it. I love it when people enjoy the stories whenever, but it's doubly great to hear when they find people at the most helpful times. Hope you're feeling better! 😃
Wow, just wow. You have created a wonderfully human sci-if future, I’m always grateful to experience it. Sad stories like this are where a great writer shines!
Cheers, Doug! Glad to hear you're appreciating even the sadder ones. I sure hope we have a long human sci-fi future 😃 The alternative is not nearly as fun.
Beautiful and haunting. I really really really hope your stories are translated to high-quality TV series. A series of series. You have created so many worlds and populated them with people I care to know all about. I cry when they self-delete. Oh Cody. I am the mother of son that insisted on climbing. I was a farmgirl that insisted on climbing. There were a couple trees in my yard that I spent a lot of time in. One with a platform my brothers built. It was at least 50 feet up. I understand the need to climb. I had to work hard to have the strength to get to that platform without the benefit of a ladder or rope. I didn't scold my son for his need to climb. I just brainstormed with him on what would satisfy him that gave me less gray hairs.
Cheers, Hemet. Maybe someday 😃 I was a climber (of trees) too. I have a cousin who really caught the bug. I remember visiting my aunt once when he was climbing El Cap, and she was surprisingly chill (on the outside). Not sure how she managed that.
This is some damned good storytelling.. Thank you. I used to free climb. I either was wearing Chuck Taylors, or combat boots. My friends and I just didn't give a flying fuck. Until I got stuck in "The Chimney". After I got "coached/walked" out of my self-imposed stupidity. Which took about 2 hours, btw... Everyone in the group was like, "Let's never do this again!".
As fun as Top Sushi(BATTLE) was, this story was as moving. As always, great story, A+ work as always. Honestly, part of me feels like listening to your stories is as if I've discovered something awesome before it gains major attention a popularity. I'm just happy to be along for the ride.
Now that I’ve listened to all your stories I anxiously and expectantly wait for the next upload. (No pressure. Smile.) I’m going to continue listening to your story telling helps and try to entertain myself with something I can come up with. What happened to my childhood love of writing? Did I lose my confidence or my willing suspension of disbelief? Time will tell.
I am completely dense on this, but can you explain the columns? I heard them referenced in other stories by you (like Telescope), but I still can't picture what exactly they are. Space Habs? Underground Habs? Am I totally off?

I'm looking forward to it!
Brilliant
Crying 😢 like a baby PE
It made me sad. The characters are like family. I felt the loss. I guess that's what makes your stories so real.
Thanks, Victoria! Making real stories is the hope 🙏

You are either a prodigious genius, or very good AI.
Excellent story.
You've make the reader care about characters in less time than some novels do.
Cheers, Crayfish! If only I could do a novel a week! But that would be a little 😵💫🤣
I was laid up for a while with some medical issues. P E Rowe thank you so much for helping me pass the time. I have enjoyed each and everyone!

Awesome story. I anticipate every Thursday offering and am never disappointed. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for not using an AI voice. And for narrating this outstanding story 😊
Cheers, Greg! That means a lot, as I've been struggling with my voice lately. Helps to hear it's worth the effort 🙏 Glad you appreciated this one.
I was hooked in seconds. Thought provoking. I could feel the emotions. Thank you.
Cheers, Peg! Glad you found it meaningful.
I don't understand why you don't have millions of subcribers? just found your channel tonight. I'm an imediate fan. keep up the amazing work!
Thanks, Jason! Glad you found the channel!
Thank you man. A sad story. But very deep. I love your works!
Thank you, Todd!

Thanks, Michael. I sure hope you're right! And it's definitely a fun ride for me too, so I'm glad you're on board!
@@pherdlmitph Sushi! 😃
The suspense rolled out like the red carpet
In this court, suspense rules 👑😃
This hit hard, man. Idk why or how, but it hits
Enjoyed but made me a bit sad. I knew what was going to happen but still I hoped i was wrong. You succeeded in provoking an emotional response.
Cheers, Lara.
Great story, I don't want to spoil it for anyone. So, I'll comment again next week on it.
Same here.

@@jobethk588 It's hard to say, JoBeth, but I think the imagination is like a muscle. It'll get stronger as you work it out 😃💪💪💪😃
“Where the sky touch the stars.”
Thanks for a good story and well spoken, too.
Cheers, Casard! Glad you enjoyed.
So very well done.
Awesome. Now I’m so sad. For me, for humanities losses. Geez, Rowe, you are some kind of wizard.
Thanks, John! 🙏
Speechless…. Well done sir
Cheers, Austin.
The count down is killing me!
Oh, man. They must make it purposefully terrible. They can't think it's good right? They have to know.
Great story telling
Cheers, Anthony 🙏😃 Glad you enjoyed it.
Thank You 🙏 Sad, yet nice :)
Cheers, Saulius!
So beautiful
Cheers, Jacob 🙏😃
Very moving - made me feel quite angry with him for being so selfish to do that to his sister.
Cheers, Martin.
Dammit Rowe! Give us a heads up next time. Now my gf is asking why there's tears in my eyes.
My bad. Hope you found a good way to spin it 😃
@RoweLit I did. I told her I was just imagining my life without her. Worked like a charm.
touching.
Cheers, MrIzzy.
It's almost like peril is a vitamin we can become deficient in.
Or addicted to, I suspect. I was watching squirrel suit videos last week when I was thinking about this one.
I am completely dense on this, but can you explain the columns? I heard them referenced in other stories by you (like Telescope), but I still can't picture what exactly they are. Space Habs? Underground Habs? Am I totally off?
No, Brandon, you're not dense at all 😃 They are underground, and I've been vague on them purposefully. I have plans down the line...🤔
@@RoweLit Dang that was quick! Thanks, definitely looking forward to what you plan on doing with this.
Like my favorite chocolate, bitter sweet 😥😊 !:-)

Wow

@@RoweLit Great job 👍 Insightful.

Your voice must be AI
Sometimes I wish it were 🤣 That would make my Wednesdays a lot easier, Greg!
