God rejects people who do any of a variety of sins. God is holy, holy, holy. Which means He can't lie when He says that your sins were nailed to the cross and died with Jesus. Look upon Jesus and live! Those who reject Jesus will stand before God on judgment day and account for all their sins. They will then be cast into the Lake of Fire for eternity. Jesus is the only way. There is no Plan B.

You deny and reject works falsely and that it’s all about grace, but yet you contradicted yourself saying she needs to repent. What is repentance if not works, what are prayers if it is not works. What is reading the Bible if it’s not works. Many Christian’s today are being led astray thinking they just have to chill and not do their part to be saved. All he did was say that Jesus was innocent, the thief admitted he deserved his punishment, then asked Jesus to remember him when Jesus went to His kingdom (acknowledging that Jesus is Lord and has a kingdom). Matthew 7:21-23 is the scariest set of verses for me because without Him I have no hope, no future. Period. But with Him, I have HOPE. And of course not just me, but everyone else! We have an eternal hope, that's what gets me through every day. John 14:6 is another of my favorites, JESUS is the way, the truth, the life. No one goes to the Father without Him. Amen!

I’m gonna say that in the book of Job, he had everything taken from him. When they rejected him, then the gentiles were given the chance to accept Jesus by faith and to be adopted into the family of God. Once in salvation and with the Holy Spirit, we are many parts, but one body in Christ Jesus. We are the bride at that point in the Rapture.

Once saved, always saved is a false teaching. If we are saved and continue to commit sin willingly and don’t repent, it’s like having the mentality that “it is okay to sin, on purpose and live life the way I want to, because I’m saved”. Phenomenal job and explanation. I pray it reaches many. The wrath of God is no joke. Though He is a loving God and merciful God; he's also a just God. To be just the punishment must fit the crime. Too often people measure themselves by the good they've done and deem themselves righteous by their works. It is never by your works, but by the work of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who took on our sins on that cross so that we could be redeemed; so that we can be cleansed and further obtain righteousness through Him who saved us. He descended to hell for us, so that we wouldn't have to. Our good works is an after the fact appreciation to show Him we love Him and believe in Him. Our works must be done in gratitude, because we are already saved. He already did the work almost 2,000 years ago. When He said, "It is finished; He was saying He was done carrying out the will of God to save us." I pray this is clear and people understand to believe not with their own worldly understanding, but with a spiritual understanding and trust in our Lord.

That's me; I'm doomed. I thought I was better than others because of this and that. Keep in mind we are saved by His grace and His grace alone. But once we accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are given His Holy Spirit. God, our creator, dwells in us. God has given us the tools to live a Godly life. That sounds daunting and it still feels like it’s dependent upon our own strength, but it’s not. Focus on God’s word, trust in Him, meditate on the Fruits of the Spirit and what God is calling us to do to live a Godly life. Galatians 5:22-23, 2 Peter 1:3-11. Are you going to mess up? I've felt that way many times but I've had to keep coming back and believing that Jesus can and does save. No matter the depth of the "black hole" of sin we may feel sucked into, we know that Jesus is ALL powerful and can pull us out of anything. I've felt it. I know deep down I don't deserve to step a _toenail_ into heaven, but Jesus still makes it possible, AMEN! Now I feel more confident in my salvation, but I'm cautiously keeping it a "humble confidence", if that makes any sense. It takes time and a lot of prayer and study of the Word for confidence to grow and Satan's lies to shrink. I'll pray for you.

This has really warmed my heart, but then suddenly, my heart has grown with fear again. I doubt whether my faith is real and I think I've forgotten what faith is and I doubt myself and whether I truly believe what Jesus did on the cross for all of us and now I'm feared again. over 20 times I've flipped through my bible and I've constantly been reading the verse John 14:1 Do not let your hearts be troubled, exercise faith in god and exercise faith in me. @collingifford I’m sorry, but you misinterpreted God’s words. The Bible clearly says multiple times FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD. You deny and reject works falsely and that it’s all about grace, but yet you contradicted yourself saying she needs to repent. What is repentance if not works, what are prayers if it is not works. What is reading the Bible if it’s not works. Many Christian’s today are being led astray thinking they just have to chill and not do their part to be saved. You cannot have a relationship with God if you are not doing works along with being Faithful. Going to church is works, paying your tithes and offering is works. Obeying God’s commandments requires works. Stop dividing Faith and Works. They are a combo package. You can’t have 1 without the other.

You must deny yourself. That means denying that YOU could do anything to deserve getting to heaven. The moment you commit ONE sin you are barred from heaven and nothing you do can get you back on the entry list. But Jesus never sinned and yet died anyway. He took all our sins. And when He died He said “It is finished”. That means that the moment He died, ALL of our sins were forgiven, past, present, and future. We only have to trust He was telling the truth that it’s finished.
It’s why the thief on the cross is shown. So we can see that he is never given the chance to do any good works as a Christian yet is going to paradise. He is in the Bible as an example of how to get to heaven. All he did was say that Jesus was innocent, the thief admitted he deserved his punishment, then asked Jesus to remember him when Jesus went to His kingdom (acknowledging that Jesus is Lord and has a kingdom). Literally all it took.

Matthew 7:21-23 is the scariest set of verses for me because without Him I have no hope, no future. Period. But with Him, I have HOPE. And of course not just me, but everyone else! We have an eternal hope, that's what gets me through every day. John 14:6 is another of my favorites, JESUS is the way, the truth, the life. No one goes to the Father without Him. Amen!

I’m gonna say that in the book of Job, he had everything taken from him. He didn’t understand why but he never question God he trusted in him just because we don’t get everything that we ask the Lord for doesn’t mean he’s not working on our behalf or it doesn’t mean that he’s not there. Well, you are right and wrong at the same time. Their is a differences between jews and gentiles, the jews were God's chosen people in the beginning. When they rejected him, then the gentiles were given the chance to accept Jesus by faith and to be adopted into the family of God. Once in salvation and with the Holy Spirit, we are many parts, but one body in Christ Jesus. We are the bride at that point in the Rapture.

That’s not what I said, the works that I’m referring to is faith that does not bear the fruit of the spirit, and brings nothing to show for, then what separates you from the world itself? Do we not do things out of the love of God and Jesus? Those are physical actions. We can choose to obey God, we can also choose to defy God. If we act accordingly, obeying the will of God, isn’t that not an action of itself?
For example: the New Testament emphasizes that obeying the commandments is a way to show love for God and to be loved by God in return. Verses about obeying the commandments

Once saved, always saved is a false teaching. If we are saved and continue to commit sin willingly and don’t repent, it’s like having the mentality that “it is okay to sin, on purpose and live life the way I want to, because I’m saved”. Salvation is not a get out of jail free card in that sense, but it is if you’re sincere and want to turn away from your wicked ways that’s all I meant to say

Phenomenal job and explanation. I pray it reaches many. The wrath of God is no joke. Though He is a loving God and merciful God; he's also a just God. To be just the punishment must fit the crime. Too often people measure themselves by the good they've done and deem themselves righteous by their works. It is never by your works, but by the work of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who took on our sins on that cross so that we could be redeemed; so that we can be cleansed and further obtain righteousness through Him who saved us. He descended to hell for us, so that we wouldn't have to. Our good works is an after the fact appreciation to show Him we love Him and believe in Him. Our works must be done in gratitude, because we are already saved. He already did the work almost 2,000 years ago. When He said, "It is finished; He was saying He was done carrying out the will of God to save us." I pray this is clear and people understand to believe not with their own worldly understanding, but with a spiritual understanding and trust in our Lord.
Please don’t be deceived and deny the extreme importance of righteous works combined with faith. It’s Blasphemy to separate it when there are many references in the Bible that Faith Without Works is Dead. And Works without Faith is also Dead. However, it’s our works we will be judged by, not our Faith.
Jesus did his part to atone for our sins and we must do our part to seal the deal. Belief alone is of🎉 the devil as he also believes in Jesus Christ and that would mean he’s going to heaven and we know that is also Blasphemy. Belief is the first step to Salvation, but many false preachers misinterpret scriptures and take it out of context which is leading many astray.

I’m sorry, many have misinterpreted God’s words. The Bible clearly says multiple times FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD. Y’all deny and reject righteous works falsely and that it’s all about grace. What is repentance if not works, what are prayers if it is not works. What is reading the Bible if it’s not works. Many Christian’s today are being led astray thinking they just have to chill and not do their part to be saved. You cannot have a relationship with God if you are not doing works along with being Faithful. Going to church is works, paying your tithes and offering is works. Obeying God’s commandments requires works. Stop dividing Faith and Works. They are a combo package. You can’t have 1 without the other.
JAMES 2: 18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
Even satan believes in Jesus Christ so you can’t stop on just belief. Belief is the FIRST STEP TO SALVATION. If you stop there you will not find yourself in Heaven. There’s a lot more we must do to seal the deal. It’s a 2 way street. Jesus did his part, atoning for our sins, and we must do our part. Jesus said if you love him, Keep his commandments. That’s a lot of works along with Faith. Can’t ignore 1 against the other. It’s a combo plan.

This word is a warning to those who are not truly saved and yet continue to work in the church thinking that by their work they will go to heaven. In words salvation by works. I'm not scared at all by this verse.
Interesting verse 15 is talking about false teachers, they keep people bound under works and separated from the truth of the gospel. It's astounding the number of pastors out there who don't seem be preaching faith in Christ. They preach church participation and tithing. They preach church membership. The blindness is real

Everybody has...it's what you do after you fail him that matters.
Keep in mind we are saved by His grace and His grace alone. But once we accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are given His Holy Spirit. God, our creator, dwells in us. God has given us the tools to live a Godly life. That sounds daunting and it still feels like it’s dependent upon our own strength, but it’s not. Focus on God’s word, trust in Him, meditate on the Fruits of the Spirit and what God is calling us to do to live a Godly life. Galatians 5:22-23, 2 Peter 1:3-11.
Are you going to mess up? Yes, but remember God loves you, He wants you to repent, and He is NEVER going to leave you. Because you are His child. God bless you ☺️

I've felt that way many times but I've had to keep coming back and believing that Jesus can and does save. No matter the depth of the "black hole" of sin we may feel sucked into, we know that Jesus is ALL powerful and can pull us out of anything. I've felt it. I know deep down I don't deserve to step a _toenail_ into heaven, but Jesus still makes it possible, AMEN! Now I feel more confident in my salvation, but I'm cautiously keeping it a "humble confidence", if that makes any sense. It takes time and a lot of prayer and study of the Word for confidence to grow and Satan's lies to shrink. I'll pray for you.

This has really warmed my heart, but then suddenly, my heart has grown with fear again. I doubt whether my faith is real and I think I've forgotten what faith is and I doubt myself and whether I truly believe what Jesus did on the cross for all of us and now I'm feared again. over 20 times I've flipped through my bible and I've constantly been reading the verse John 14:1 Do not let your hearts be troubled, exercise faith in god and exercise faith in me. I'M DOUBTING MY FAITH NOW. I DON'T WANT TO GO TO HELL AND I WANT FULL ASSURANCE THAT MY FAITH IS REAL AND THAT I AM NOT BASING MYSELF OF MY WORKS. Please help me
