Sub is usually better, but AOT is infamous for having the greatest anime dub of all time. Dub easy.

The dub is so cringey Idk how ppl watch it. Eren’s actor over acts so much, sounds like an edge lord

To me dub was fine if they were expository. No high emotions. Just this eerie revelation of truth or moment of reflection. The emotion from the VAs seem to throw me off when it's high octane scenes. Somethong I don't have problems with Western-produced animations like Disney or Nickelodeon... I dunno.
The Final Arc though was good. It seems like they made sure it was handled properly. Loved the dub crew did. Did they replace the voice director? 😁

The intro is just way too biased. You should atleast compare the same scene

You are probably right. That biased editor needs to take his feeling out of it

If dub sounds better its because your not thinking about how the acting doesn't actually line up (and never will) with the animation. This is why Castlevania and Avatar hit harder. If the anime is not being animated to your lines that means in every Dub, the voice actors have to either water down they're lines and Delivery just to fit the scene, since they never truly had the freedom to act it out. Imagine being an actor restricted of emotion and lines, there would always be boundaries. The only reason DUB is hitting harder for you is because when Funimation studio got thier chance to mix in the the Dub audio, they threw in some reverb, because thats all they can afford to do. They don't even have the funds to remaster it.

I hate dubbed Hange, she sounds like someone who doesn’t have the experience she has

There are only rare instances in anime in which the dub version trumps the sub. Pain and Zabuza in Naruto is an example. Yet only in individual scenes and not as a whole.
Japanese Voice actors have the advantage that in their language most words end in vowels (a,e,i,o,u), while in english they end in consonants. It's easier to drag out words and transfer more emotion into them.
If you like dub, I can respect it. But the main reason why some people prefer dub is that they're too lazy to read when watching a show and can't focus on what's going on.
