  • Patrick Bet-David reacts with humor and astonishment to the surprising science behind honey production, explaining how the unique flapping of bees' wings creates the iconic hexagonal honeycomb structure while also noting the rather unappetizing fact that honey is essentially bee vomit.

      The real issue with commercial honey, is a lot of it is shipped in out of the country and a lot of the time it's not real honey. Even your local honey company might do this.
      I work for a pollination and honey company with about 8,000 hives. The only thing that is done to the honey we harvest is draw it out of the comb and run it through a filter to catch the wax. Then it's bottled and shipped.

Zero red flags go off in their minds when they hear such claims, I've seen it a couple of times already and it's sad, the other one they really fell for was the machine that output more energy than got put in and whose "inventor" mysteriously died or disappeared. Zero awareness of basics physics and 100% gullibility. The only thing they got right was the tox shot, but 2 years later after people started talking about it, and not out of reading the published documents, but out of gut feeling, so, yeah, right for the wrong reasons.

      @@lonli2020 I mean, vibrations do make shapes and I don’t know enough to argue that factor, but I can deduce that sound vibrations don’t make honey last indefinitely. A archeologists found honey from 3,000 years ago and he ate it (he didn’t know a baby fetus was embalmed in it) but he was fine. It certainly wasn’t because vibrations for 3000 years before stopped it from going bad.

    • @Mario-G-Man
      @Mario-G-Man День назад +1

      It's actually true. Not only it makes the hexagon patterns, the vibration and frequency of the wings makes the bee "lightweight" in order to bring back the pollen to the hive/nest/colony.

    • @codefree369
      @codefree369 День назад +2

      Pollen is the essence of life. An energy. Energy cannot be destroyed. The purity of honey is what makes it last soo long. The vibrations certainly create the hexagonal pattern. Look at the poles of planets.
      Sound vibrations create symmetry, geometric patterns. Perfect symmetry is balance and balance is what enables things to last for a long time.
      Look at society, those out of balance, fall apart a.k.a the USA.
      Societies with balanced structure, last longer.
      Same with buildings etc.
      Balance carries an energy of peace. Peace is stability. Stability is time.
      Look at the pyramids, stablility.
      Earthquakes are instability, creates chaos and pulls things apart, out of balance.unbalanced energies vieing for hierachy.
      Vibrations are energies translation into matter.

      @yonidellarocha9714 23 часа назад +2

      The guy in the video is talking nonsense, but your explanation doesn't make sense either.
      First of all, the hexagonal grid is made of wax, not honey, the honey goes inside the grid of wax. And while it's true that the bees make the holes circular, surface tension doesn't play a role or change the shape of the holes at all, the holes remain circular. The hexagonal shape is of the position of the holes, not the holes themselves, just think of a square grid, the holes are circular but set up at 90 degrees from each other, making it a square grid of circular holes. This is the same but at 60 degrees between the holes, it's a hexagonal grid of circular holes.
      And the bees do this by "hand" (claw?), not by frequency or any wing effect, you can even see time-lapses of it. Building the hexagonal grid with wax is a very well documented behavior in bees, they do this themselves, this behavior was clearly selected-for by natural forces, they might have been doing it like that for millions of years.

    Bees don't actually "vomit pollen" to create the hexagonal shapes in their hive or to purify/preserve honey. The hexagonal structure of a beehive, called a honeycomb, is created by worker bees using wax produced from their bodies. They shape the wax into perfect hexagons through instinctive behavior, and the design is highly efficient for storing honey, larvae, and pollen.
    As for the sound frequency of bees' wings, they generally beat at a frequency of around 200 to 250 Hz (hertz), depending on the species and activity. When bees are flying or working in the hive, this wingbeat frequency produces the characteristic buzzing sound.
    Honey preservation is a result of the high sugar content and low water activity, which naturally inhibits bacterial growth. The bees fan their wings to help evaporate moisture from the nectar, which thickens it into honey. This fanning also creates air circulation in the hive, but it doesn't have any direct connection to sound frequency shaping the honeycomb or preserving honey.

    The bees store the honey in a sack, then unload the preserved product into a cone that was created and shaped by the sound they make while they work.
    Bees are genius. They are super efficient in creating a sweet substance that has medicinal properties. Nothing needs to be done to the honey - its perfect.
    Bees work together and create perfection.
    How many humans can claim to do that?

    Bees do not vomit honey in the hive. They have been observed as having pockets in their legs to carry it back to the hive. I think the amount of honey each single bee carries over it's lifespan is about 1/8th of a teaspoon.

    As a physics guy, I assumed Pat was thinking about the physics of the standing waves the buzzing would create, which would form the honeycomb and destroy bacteria and viruses, assuming their natural resonance is a multiple or divisor of the frequency of the sound emitted by the bees' wing flaps.
    But that focused face was just thinking about puke.
    We can do better, people.

    A hexagonal structure of the hive’s inner walls is the strongest structure after a sphere. It is mathematically the best structure to store/contain things as it gets formed when a collection of balls/droplets get squashed forming hexagonal shapes

    Even more amazing than that,.... Plants with pollen give off a tone frequency that the bees can hear magnetically and when the bee approaches how to extract the pollen their magnetic charge literally makes the pollen jump onto their legs at the same time negatively charging the plant frequency pitch.

    I thought everyone knew this they process the nectar of flowers and make it into honey through regurgitating it. The cool part is how the frequency detoxes the honey and creates geometry within the hives.

    FYI -The Bees wing hexagon explination is COMPLETLY wrong; The hexagons are formed by geometry and physics - no wing action required - The wax cells of the hive are in truth 'circular' but due to compresive forces, the geometry undergoes a tranformation. The circular shape becomes a hexagon under compresion; this is well understood and is the physics of wax, force and simple geometry. Nothing to do with wing harmonic frequency at all.
