Can I just say that I deeply appreciate how you turn the ignition to on and let the fuel pump run it's cycle before actually starting the car? I've gotten in the habit of doing that since my first car that was an old carbureted 80s Ford Escort. And a good habit at that. Just makes it easier on everything during ignition. Nothing grinds my gears more than seeing some teenage girl hop in her Cobalt or what have you and INSTANTLY smash the ignition and throw it into gear...
Sounds really fun. I'm digging hard trying to find a 2011-2013 dodge charger right now to replace my car (2003 Eclipse GT). These things caught me by surprise though, nice sound.
LEDs flash on and off in a way that is not discernible to the naked eye and produces no visible flicker. However when the LEDs are viewed on video, they aren't in sync with the camera's frame rate and as a result appear to flicker.
i took one for a test drive, wasnt bad at all, but if you get one i highly sugest getting a sprint booster for better throttle response. and a mpx short shifter. thats 350 bucks total. will then make a good car, perfect imo

@Daniel Rodriguez: the Dart 1.4 is not supposed to be a race car. It is a fuel efficient, sporty compact sedan. Yes, the 2.4 is a great engine, and I loved it in my 2004 NSRT-4, but you can't compare the two. The dart is an economy car, while the 2.4 is a relatively high-performance engine.
I have a 2013 Dodge Dart limited with the 1.4 multiair @Daniel Rodriguez u might be rt abt the 2.4 being a high performance engine but with a little tlc to my dart and a couple thousand I made it push 300 hp and 305 torque and that’s only on 10 psi if I crank it to 14 psi I get 341 on the dot and 328 torque but if I keep it there it puts too much pressure on everything

My mom has the hands down the best 1.4 dart but for fuk sakes the blind spots are so fucked on these cars and they have the most unnerving turbo lag without a proper tune
it has more power than most compact cars, and with a stage 1 tune on stock, you get an extra 30-40hp and torque, you do stage 2 bolts-on you gain another 40-60hp and torque, and that's on top of what you already got from stage 1, and then theres stage 3 which is the big turbo kit and you get close to 400 hp at that point, so yeah, btw on stage 1 you also get launch control

For 2013 Darts, the only trim levels that came with the racetrack taillight were the Aero, GT, and Limited. The SE, SXT, and SXT Rallye did not come with it.

intake makes your turbo more noticeable. spooling and blow off valve is louder. its normal. nothing abnormal about that. people have no idea what there talking about here lol
toyota sound better and the turbo car still r better and faster the old 90's mr2 turbo better and faster then the dodge turbo still in the first srt4 turbo neon it took bmw to make that eng. where it can run over 100 mph my 4 cyi stock 0 to 60 is about 5 sec.and thats 25 years old techknow is stupiod the only thing is the better gas miles per gallon i get 18 to 21 mpg and its a 5 speed in it its not more gears like all the new car its taking more hp with the 6 speed cars and all i can take a 200 hp 5 speed and still out run most 6 7 or 8 speed cars easy the techknowthat out there for hp to time wise sucks american techknow should have came out and used the mr2 BLUE PRINT for distance to hp mr2 will allway win or they sould have said 5 gear at 60 i run about 2950rpm to 3000rpm its not the fastest but for 200 hp in a 25 year old car it does a good o to 60 and 1/4quarter mile in good times for 200 hp i get good tracksing because american made motors that suck the

That tends to happen when people don't do research. With 160hp and 180lbtq, I knew it wouldn't be like my 04 SRT-4. I needed something economical with sporty appearance. I knew what the Dart was, and I am completely satisfied with it.

I just wish they would have made the turbo engine a 2.0 liter. Like 2.0 n.a. then a 2.0t and then the 2.4 n.a. and have the 2.0t have the same power output as the 2.4. To me a 1.4t is just too small and lame for a car of this size.
The 1.4L turbo powerplant gets better fuel mileage than both the 2.0 N/A as well as the 2.4L N/A. The 1.4 also makes more torque than both the available 2.0 and 2.4 engines. The 2.4 makes a little more horsepower (negligible), but the 1.4 is much more efficient.
These cars weren't made to go fast. After the big 3 went belly up in 08, the government required them to be successful. So, they got rid of the performance market except for in sports cars, because very few people care about speed.
These cars are not SRT-4 or Cobalt SS note worthy but they kinda give you that feel and sound of going fast while meeting the cafe rules. The Dart at least gives you the sound part, us Cruzers have to do exhaust mods to get some kind of audible exhaust note. I haven't driven the Dart yet but my 1.4L ecotec "feels like" its putting out at least 2.3L engine power.
You can't really tell if an engine will last by sounds alone. Direct injection engines for example sound like they have knock when they're perfectly healthy.

the flutter is actually from air pressure pushing back through the turbo, its bad on the lifespan of the boost system

I think you should adjust your BOV sensitivity. You're getting mild compressor surge at lower boost levels.

You can't really tell if an engine will last by sounds alone. Direct injection engines for example sound like they have knock when they're perfectly healthy.
it's not sick...the sneezing sound you hear is the blow off valve....keep calm man.
