    damn, I've been browsing videos without a clear idea for how to tell how these things compare to canned air. Didn't even think of the measurement thing. Great video

    Very professional video and I love that you gave the best test for how they stand up. I was on the fence and your video was the tipping point for me. Tyvm

    Thank you! Was sorting through a bunch of videos like this where they'd blow smoke or some other random "test", but very happy to see an objective measurement done. I'm sold! :)

    I have another similar one and i love it, came in handy when my GFs smoke detector on a 20foot ceiling wouldnt shut up and the reset button wouldnt work, so i climbed the step ladder and hit it with my mini blower and it shut it up

    Even though you overstuffed the vacuuming part :) It does seem quite perfect for electronics and computer uses! Thanks for the review!

      You bet! Been using it both here in my garage as well in my office above it. It is a great combo.

    It’s a shame you can’t use the long thin valve on the suction side for hard to reach places

    As always, nice job! The HOTO and even the Koonie would be a great addition for my channel with the vintage games and electronics I bring in. I go through a lot of the compressed air when I take apart the systems and I do use my Fanttik V8 for the vacuum side on the work. Since the vacuum is covered I'm leaning Koonie. Either way, another item you will have influenced me to get - along with all the Fanttik ones I have 🙂. One question, how loud are these two? Don't you have that decible meter or was it the app on the phone? Thanks!

    • @InJasonsGarage
      @InJasonsGarage  4 месяца назад +1

      Thanks! They sound about as loud as what you think they would....add a high-RPM motor the size of a D battery to the sound of the air coming out of the canned air. :). However, I wouldn't say it is "loud". Similar to the sound level than the Fanttik V8 that I reviewed in the past.

    Thank you so much for the review. It looks like the perfect thing for a car! It is sold in Russia, but I did not find any reviews. ❤

    Hello, I have bought the device, however I can't seem to find the air filter replacement for it. Any idea where to get one?

    • @InJasonsGarage

      I'd just clean it once in a while with a more powerful vacuum.😃. Otherwise, I'd check with HOTO: hototools.com/pages/contact-us

    Thanks for the video. Any idea if you can get replacement filters and battery?

    • @InJasonsGarage
      @InJasonsGarage  3 месяца назад

      I don't think the battery is easily user-serviceable, it is rather sealed up. As far as a replacement filter, I went to check their site but it seems their site is having issues at the moment.

      I just noticed that they now have replacement filter on their site. hototools.com/products/4-pack-replacement-filters-for-compressed-air-capsule
      Personally, I just use the unit to briefly blow anything out in the correct direction (opposite of the suction) and then reinstall it.

    Great video.I've just bought it after watching your review. Quick question, how long did it take to charge for the first time before using? I've been charging it for 6 hours now and it still doesn't show as fully charged.

    • @InJasonsGarage
      @InJasonsGarage  2 дня назад

      I dont think it should be that way. My first thought would be to take it off the charger, use it a little bit to drain the battery down, and then put it back on the charger and see if it fully charges quickly.

    Hi, is this normal that when I use air capsule option it leaks air a little from the on/off button?

      I never noticed before, but I just checked. I am unsure if it is "normal", but mine does it as well.

    Nice video. I thought it would be weaker than compressed air can due to being battery-powered, but I guess I'm wrong.

      Thanks, I was surprised that even the cheap version did so well against compressed air.

    Biggest drawback for me with electric dusters is that you don't get the quick bursts of air that you get with the canned air. I also would have preferred a sliding switch rather than having to hold the button down to turn it off.

    • @InJasonsGarage
      @InJasonsGarage  Месяц назад

      Thats true...it does have to ramp up for a split second. And I do agree...the button is kinda clunky to use but you get used to it after a few uses.
