I think it’s a great thing, just like with the Citizen Chronomaster watches. I really don’t want Citizen and Casio end up like Seiko with their brand positioning after word got around about Grand Seiko. I’m very happy to have them stay in the spot that they’re in now.
Personally, I think that it's great that only a few people know about it, you can really tell the snobs from the enthusiasts. It also acts as sort of like a stealth luxury watch haha
I have Rolexes, Cartier, IWC etc. I bought this because I live in Mexico City and you can be invited to depart from your watch in any corner. I didn’t expect much more than a practical watch. Boy was I surprised. This is not accurate, it is the perfect time every second of the year because it updates with the satellite or your phone. It has perpetual calendar. It can let you find your phone by using the button in the watch. It is beautiful; just stunning. It’s the best watch I’ve had.
I have had watches from an F-91W to Seiko Prospex to Sinn, Omega. I even sampled a GS and worn a Rolex of a friend for a few days. I have never received as many comments about what watch I’m wearing as when I have an Oceanus S100/T5000 on. I think it’s the high-level finishing that’s indistinguishable from something much higher end at a usual distance combined with the slightly out-there styling and the thinness that really makes people take notice.
When you can have a watch that has great specs, with tech that will blow any mechanical movement away in terms of long term reliability and lack of need for a service, while also respecting tradition and artisanry, using all Japanese parts, finished and assembled by true craftsmen in Japan by hand (even the module is partly hand finished) and unparalleled QC to a pixel-perfect level, all for $500-$1000, I am at a point where I’m selling most of my collection as they’ve barely gotten any wrist time lately. Oceanus, for the right person is truly in the Goldilocs zone as the one-watch collection.
I look forward to an update video after you've had it on the wrist for a month. Looking at this model also, but am curious about after the honeymoon phase if there are any quarks or dislikes. I love the titanium braclet on my ocw-600 but this one looks much thinner so wondering how it holds up. Thanks for the video. It really is a stunning watch.
Saying its beautiful is an understatement... This marvel of a watch that offers so much, tuff solar, the most precise watch ever Coz of its blue tooth function... 👨 ❤Man what can I say... I love it..!

I have the T-200 and Manta S5000. They are definitely different. The 200 is stainless steel and Manta is high-grade titanium. The zuratsu polishing on both make them truly unique. I also have the P-2000 Cachelot. All three are magnificent watches!
@@avenueb no, the T200 is stainless steel. The S100 that it replaced was titanium. Nick Shabazz has a review of both of them compared, and the T200 weighs twice as much, just because it isnt titanium.
My humble and small watch collection has 2 Crown Jewels, and both are Oceanus. From my experience owning one for 5 1/2 years with a titanium strap: the Titanium strap scratches easily and you can’t remove them…mine now has an Artem strap. Now the Casio DLC is awesome on my diver. So I hope to buy one day the s7000B with the DLC all over.
Beautiful watch, provide a sense of coolness and serentiy! Does the glass/bezel get scratched after 8 months of regular use? Or is it entirely sapphire?
It's all sapphire but there is an AR coating on the outside which I've heard can be scratched. I wouldn't put it past Casio to employ a very durable coating though. Hard to say.

I was thinking on buying a Casio Watch , but i am not a Fan of Quarz or Digital , Solar Quarz is acceptable . This one needs to be in my Collection, especially with the titanium bracelet , if i dont get one , i will just wait on the next Release .
The strap is removable, and I just tried 20mm and 22mm straps. It seems to be an odd sized 21mm as the 22 is a bit too big and 20 too small, so you may have to find a unique band as a replacement. I heard good things about StrapCode bracelets though. I will probably wear the standard for a while.

Im sure youll get lots of compliments. But yeah i really want to find a solution for a different type of metal bracelet. Not a strap. I just dont like that skinny line going down the middle. I may want to polish the entire center link similar to how some oyster bracelets are polished. That would be sick. But yeah cant wait for the update video. I think a black or white leather strap would look super nice if i had to get one! 🎉

what can you get with a DLC coate bezel and high quality sapphire for under $1000 besides a garmin fenix? I thought this had DLC but apparenlty not :(

I have a watch tool kit which I use to knock out the pins on bracelet links, then link it back together at my wrist size configuration.

Yup, you can adjust it maybe half a link and only has 1 adjustment setting. Very easy to use and I use it all the time.
