PRO you will die a Hero in my life thanks
very wise man. The panache of the language is amazing.
I am very happy for this guy you know why because his speech talking truth
that let me to feel very happy and i am very proud of him
Prof. Lumumba is one of his kind on the African soil. His inspiring and eloquent presentation of Africa is great and very inspiring. I do agree with professor that Africa is the cause of the African problems. I still believe that Africa is not yet close to solving her problems, not in the 21st Century. A German philosopher by the name Hegel once said that history repeats itself and despite all the struggle for independence from colonists were are now back to another difficult episode for the continent. Prof. should guide us to how we can develop new crop of leaders. Where is the problem?
I hope my president and his govement will listen to prof. Lumumba. From Sierra Leone
Jonathan Tutu This is what Maada is doing even I as a Temne. He is putting people with the know how in the right place.
The professor is the best!
God bless Prof. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
prof. you are the man Africa need
I admire you Prof..keep up with the good work
Paul, Listening to your interview saddens my heart more about the future of Ghana and perhaps Africa. We have such a brain in front of you and all you do is ask about past and history? We need questions that point to concrete ideas about building the new Africa. The hour is wasted talking of history and past that we already know. What critical ideas did you elicit from this great mind?
The only way to understand the present, is to look into the past. I think it is a very insightful interview. History, accurate history is the only best kickstarter to a better tomorrow. It allows one to understand why the present is the way it is.
@@appiahemmanuel7070 @my brother stop using insultive words,if you prefer not to listen, you're not forced to do so.
@@appiahemmanuel7070 This is uncouth...please learn how to frame your questions and comments.
its of great heart to watch this video. thanks but I will love to meet you Mr Host
A true mentor to many
I prefer to hear your speeches rather than my meals! God bless you and protect you from those white snacks of western!
Hahahaha Hahahaha
buenas noches to my african brother and sister prof. plo lumumba speech is a music to the ears of his people the sound of the drums calling home his brothers and sisters come home with your skills and knowledge you acquired in the western world to help conquer the impossible eradicating hunger and help africa to feed house and cloth it self and stop buying second hand use cloth as prof plo lumumba ask what development plan is best for africa and its people let the new road map roll out 2063 gracias gracias adios.
Am telling you the professor words will come to pass
Appreciating the vision of Prof. Lumumba I would really question the African renaissance and how long Africa still needs to wait to get the right leadership. Prof. Lumumba once attempted to get into the Kenyan politics but he was disappointed by the system that does not tolerate such brains. Africa is not yet fully liberated from the world powers and we must still consider Africa as culturally colonized. Leaders are also products of a none developing culture. Our problem first is that we hate our own cultural identity and the Professor is one of those who perpetuate what was once a Western interpretation of the African failure. He is not speaking to the Africans but to the Westerns.
Thanks, Professor you’re right, define them more!! The Bible calls them Wicked Leaders.
Prof Lumumba is wisdom personified
I Love PLO Lumumba. This mans simply encapsulates knowledge of Africa's political history.
...Don't forget South Sudan. When Riek Machar was fired from vice-president position, he collected his army, formed a rebellion and killed the Dinka Bor people. The Dinka then retaliated and things became ugly across South Sudan. In fact, that was the second time Riek Machar has done that. John Garang was alive during the first rebellion in 1991. My father was among Riek's victims in 1991. So, African democracy isn't really a democracy for some African nations. I'm proud of those African nations that are trying to educate their young generations so that we may weed out corruption in Africa. This is an insightful interview. Well done!
We believe in Africa. Africa is a great place that is yet to be fully and truly uncovered for greatness. Africa must benefit well enough from her land before anyone else.

A great son of our part of the world!
Indeed, we need men like this to continue to move Africa forward. Africa must develop. ✋
Well seasoned Professor with a planned agenda to foster Africa's dream.
Professor PLO, you have delivered the message on corruption in Afrika. How can the thieves arrested? It should start with the President of the country, then the ministers, and others to follow. Like South Sudan, Uganda, Kenya, Sudan, DR Congo, Burundi etc. Otherwise corruption will continue to reign in Afrika.
This was great interview
prof you are great speaker i like that chief of chief , thank you so much i,m very interesting
!!!!
KENYA MTUMIENI LUMUMBA POSITIVELY HES IS A GREAT MAN RESOURCE FOR A LOT OF THINGS RELATED TO COUNTRY DEV.HE DESERVE TO BE A ROLE MODEL\
Shida ya Kenya si raia wake ni viongozi wake. There are some intricate cartels in the Kenyan government that would not let him do anything substantive within the borders (other than giving lectures). He was once appointed to head the Kenya anti-corruption commission, but that glorious tenure was shortlived. He started probing deep into the state and realized his employer was calpable. The commission was degazetted and rebranded into Ethics and anti-corruption commission, the effect of which all it's independent commissioners lost their jobs. Very convenient if you ask me. Tuiombee Kenya watu wake waamke wajipiganie.
Apparently we Kenya have neglected his wisdom
very unfortunate
YOU Speak facts, how i wish African leaders paid attention to you.
Ndugu Lumumba, kidogo kidogo hujaza kibaba(Kiswahili proverb). Ndugu, every little positive word or sentence you say or write will always have an impact. You have inspired me to speak up about what I feel is wright or wrong. However, I tend to speak about what is right rather than speaking about what is wrong. Why? Because I think we, humans are stupid by nature but what balances Humanity is the degree of stupidity...in other words...Good always cancell out the evil. There are always agents of evil working each and every day trying to destroy the Agents of Good, Possitivity, Peace, Love, Unity, and Human Development. All that is visible online...on tweeter, facebook, youtube and more. Ndugu Lumumba, please, prepare our young generation for the "unkowned worlds" out there. I will do my part here in Canada. I'm a South Sudanese-Canadian from the Lost Boys of Sudan. I know, humans are kind by nature but some are more kinder. Education is knowledge, "that used to be the motto of Moi University, Eldoret" when I was in grade 3 in 1993. Walimu wetu walitufunza lugha ya Kiswahili kabisa, lakini mimi nilikua mkimbizi kutoka Sudan. Kiswahili was a foreign language to us Refugees in Kakuma Refugee Camp by then. We just came in April of 1992 and knew nothing the language and culture. The only culture we.knew was ours, the Dinka Bor Culture. Other Sudanese had their cultures. At first, there was lots of peace but as we interacted with other cultures, conflicts began to arise. My Thesis that got me the scholarship to study in Canada was entitled "Conflicts in Kakuma Refugee Camp: Causes and Recommendations". I did an extensive interviews with community leaders. I even did an interview with one of the local tribeman, the Turkana. He used to call me Garang even though he knew my name but I started to like the name Garang because John Garang was my tribesman. In a nutshell, our humanity supersedes our tribal egos. We Africans MUST learn from the past in order to build a better future for our children.
A true mentor for the overdue and much needed changes on the African continent
Great man of our time . we need you in Africa , keep it up
What a great orator.
Am impressed by his speeches
My mentor Prof
Fantastic! Great Brother
Your vocal energy really mesmerised me.
Actually through you am inspired in a way that no one has ever done. Even though prophets have no respect from their motherland,l still recognize you as a hero of Kenya. May you live long for Africa to prosper
we recognize him in Kenya, he is a true pan-africanist
He is well recognized in Kenya
Feel-good effect, I am free from this syndrome. I vote based on ideology and my own analysis of whether or not a particular political party carries the nation's soul and willing to deliver a national agenda which impacts significantly the lives of the ordinary Ghanaian in all facets of life.
This man.
Professor Lumuba please come enlighten Namibians
Gabriel Shikongo lol
1000% correct
This great man can move the hole africa to the next level
PLEASE MR INTERVIEWER, ALLOW THE GODS TO SPEAK TO THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF THE AFRICAN PEOPLE AND STOP THAT UNWARRANTED INTERJECTIONS. ASK QUESTIONS OF THE FUTURE AND DON'T RUSH TO CUT THE FLOW OF THOUGHT OF A GUEST LIKE PPL
Yes! He interrupts too often.
There are so many of his speeches online, so give this brother a break. There are many like him . We want to hear Prof. Lumumba, and your questions only..
Great inspiration indeed.
P.L.O Lumumba is a gifted and great son of Africa. He speaks the truth which many African leader's are scared to speak.
I'm inspired to take Africa to the next level through better transformation whenever I listen to him .
Long life Pr. Lumumba
Just here for the comments. On my behalf and that of other members of the Comments Reading Association of Kenya (CRAK), we appreciate your typing effort. Please keep your comments short and straight to the point, and kindly mind your spellings and grammar. Thank you and have a great day!
that's what a Kenyan can do
I think there are still good people in this world. who tell the truth no matter how bitter it is.
THANK YOU
✌Professor Lumumba listening to you is so beautiful and yet painful at the same time! Beautiful because you are a true Son of the Soil who is not afraid to speak the truth. Painful in the sense that most of our African leaders have betrayed their people by not being responsive to their needs.
The average citizen in Africa is not enjoying his life post independence because of greediness by the leaders.
Oh God help!
We must use his views we can succeed ....ofcoz yec, corruption itz a great source of all evils in our contnent of today
Proud of you prof.PLO
Good job Paul
Yes democracy is like a river small narrow at the beginning and it grows longer and wider until its marged in the sea

interesting prof.
Dr Khalid mansur of our time
INTERESTING HOW THIS DISCOURSE IS RELEVANT TODAY. THE POLITICAL PARTY IS ONLY A VEHICLE TO WHICH POLICY STRATEGY AND DIRECTION ARE ARTICULATED.
Paul...please, PLO knows Kenya. If you begin your political campaign with handouts, you have to maintain it with handouts. People have to be committed to a cause and not to whatever temporary gratification they can get
E
q
Right on brother !
Luv PLO
Amen.
On term limits, the leaders desire to maintain their own power for their lifetime.
He kept interrupting him 🤨
Around the 34 - 35 minute mark, the host makes an error with the Liberian presidential term. It is two 6-year terms; not the first 6 and the second 4 as he said..
Lamii Kpargoi you're right! Liberia has six years for each term.
The host doesn’t know anything, yet he wants to appear as if he knows everything.....worrying
