Why would you put a puzzle underneath while glueing

Can I glue smaller sections of the puzzle until I finish the puzzle or does it need to be glued all at once when I'm completely finished with it?? Thank you guys!
I'd say completely finished but I don't think it would hurt to section it out. Just make sure it's not like this puzzle. We did have to switch pieces throughout building it. But a typical puzzle should be okay.

Mod Podge bottle says it will take 4 weeks for this to completely cure. Does anyone have any experience with that or opinions about that? Does it really take 4 weeks for this? That is a long long time.
I don't believe so. Mine was ready to go the following morning and had amazing results. That would be a tremendous amount of time to wait for each puzzle to cure for sure.

I think it may not be as clear bit if you only apply on the back it may still hold it together but not affect the picture.

I actually still have only 3 complete now. Still have 2 of the boxes and have been soooo busy with other projects too. One of them hangs on my Twitch gaming channels wall. I just started streaming about 3 weeks ago and all is going much better than expected. I love how I can let my awkwardness shine on Twitch 😊 I'm still trying to loosen up a bit too.
