Have you ever done a step by step guide with pics/illustrations of what needs to be done to the engine/transmission in order to do the Mazda 2.3 to Mazda 2.5 swap? I love the 2009 HB design and with car prices these days, I would highly consider this swap if/when my original engine/trans are done. If you do, let me know. I would love to have it on hand. Quick question for ya, after a couple set backs im just finishing up one of these swaps. Going from a 07 mazda 3s 2.3 to a 12 fusion 2.5...... How much oil do you end up putting in? From what I can tell, the only reason the 2.5 calls for more oil is because there is more space in the pan. Do you just fill it to what the 2.3 called for since we switched pans?

So 2.3 actuator and sump and front cover, the 2.5 intake and tbh are just plug n play?

Yeah just fill to what the 2.3 holds which is 4.5 qts
Do you have to mess with the cam?
umm just fill till the level is good?? thats what the dipstick is for my guy
