  • Phillip McCallen quickly made a name for himself around the Mountain Course when he won the 1988 Lightweight Newcomers Manx Grand Prix race and then rode the same 250cc Honda to victory in the feature Lightweight race. He rod his own factory RC45 Honda in the Made at the Manx Parade

Fantastic.. When I watch videos like this of the past masters I only wish our dear friend Joey Dunlop was here to do the same.. It would be such a beautiful sight..
RIP The King of The Roads. 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁

I would love to learn more about the team that puts these Manx GP and TT videos together. True artists who really captured the atmosphere of the Manx GP week. I was there and shot about 20 hours on the GoPro but I may give up on editing mine after watching this series. BTW Philip McCallen has a huge motorcycle dealership in Lisburn NI. Strangely, he sells just about every brand of motorcycle except Honda. The brand he became famous on.

Brilliant to see. Such a humble and likable person. His 97 TT winning bike still looks just as beautiful!

Why there is only RPM gauge, no speed🤔

Why do you have to ruin a good video by putting inane Muzak over the top of beautiful sounding motorbikes

Thanks Bill, beat me to it. One of the best things about the RC45 is the sound and despite this being a great video, someone has tried to ruin it.
Incidentally, I have a very rare UNSIGNED copy of Phillip's autobiography!
