So, is Daisen the cousin to Amagi and Akagi, or is she their older sister? After all, she did end up becoming the inspiration for the Amagi-class battlecruisers.

And she uses twin gun version of Izumo guns. And afaik, the IJN BB (real) designs only went Kongo > Fuso > Ise > Nagato > Amagi > Tosa > Kii > No. 13 (Think of enlarged Nagato with 457mm guns) > [Kongo Replacement that has 10x406] > A-140 design proposals (Izumo is one of them known as A-140 J2) > Yamato.
