I have an X Fold 3 on the way, because after a year of using the X Fold 2, I found that I don't even need wireless charging, super performance, water resistance, a larger zoom or more memory. That's why I didn't want to pay €1500 for the Pro version and I saved over €400. I ordered it on Thursday, it was sent on Friday, it is in Italy today and the DHL courier will bring it to me on Thursday, so great! Bubbles... 👍

Great video and based on needs, I still prefer the Pro version, so it's the winner for me as the price doesn't mean as much as things like wireless charging. I can live with it while Vivo continues to optimize the SD8G3.

I started ignoring the SoC a few years ago since i dont game on mobile but i hadn't considered the potential for efficiency loss as they keep trying to make those bubbles go up. If the problem with the battery on the pro is solved, than i'll buy the pro because of this reasons: the 3 has no ip rating (only the pro as far as i know), wireless charging (just not to use the charging port that often), the more futureproof cpu (maybe better for AI) I think this could be worth the extra money

Mix Fold 3 got a lot of love for a while when it came out last year. I've heard rumors that the Mix Fold 4 will be the new thinnest foldable, even thinner than the Honor Magic V2. Also, I heard Xioami is dropping the Mix Flip with the Mix Fold 4 later this year.
Great video, I agree the standard model is a better choice than the pro. One important difference though is the IP ratings and that might be more important to some people than me. Ultimately though whilst the hardware looks fantastic especially the size of the screen, the reliability of Samsung updates and Dex in my boring world take priority.
I think if the 3 pro wasn't throttling the 8 gen 3 because of the heat as much as it does and had the endurance of the 3 consistently it would maybe be worth the 300+ extra. Bubbles. But if you get either they are both much cheaper than the competition. If anything as of today they are the biggest competition for themselves
I'd rather have the X FOLD 3 PRO than the X FOLD 3. I haven't had any issues with battery life or anything. My phone has gone for at least 5 days before recharging. So no issues here. Please don't bash the X FOLD 3 PRO. THANK YOU

I think it's locked to standard HDR as it's not on a global ROM. If they release a Global version, this would be resolved. We've seen this on similar device like the Honor Magic series between it's china and global versions

BUBBLES Agree with your conclusion fully, the Snapdragon 8 gen 3 was not much of an improvement. It mainly increases clock speeds and power consumption, doesn't use smaller or more efficient architecture. The Snapdragon 8 gen 2 may be the most efficient flagship chipset yet.

How much better is the x fold 3 from the x fold 3 pro when it comes to battery life? How much longer will the battery life last you? I got the x fold 3 pro and it's a beast, I love it. But I've been kinda bummed with battery life so far. I bought it because I wanted better battery life then my oneplus open and it's been better than my oneplus open but not significantly. I am heavy phone user and battery life is important to me.

It lasted me forever. I want to easily be able to make it through the day with heavy usage and I can't do that with the fold 3 pro without charging it. I woke up at 8 this morning and I would say I have used it medium usage and it is already down to 69%. It is 11:30am now where I am at.

The vivo is wifi 7 compatible wifi 6e or ax Because I strange but a lot of test say x20 is 6e compatible but it's not real it's ax and 7 ready it's seems the vivo in the normal version is the same. Gen2 and 3 defer with the wifi access? Do you know more about that? For me Wi-Fi 7 replace all my Lan More than we can think is allready for wifi 7

Any chance you'll do the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro Global Variant? Its getting released in India, 6 June, with FunTouch OS. Originally, you said that it wasn't going to be released global, now Vivo decided to get it global. Note, only the XFold3P is global, not the standard.
Bubbles. X fold 3 on its way. The only reason I went for the standard over the pro. Weight was always an issue for me using foldables. They have come a long way. The other reason was price. This much phone for under £1k.
i have the samsung Galaxy x fold5 which i love but one reason i dont have one of the others you mentioned is complicated ordering and trust of ordering...in the US its harder to get the other brands you mentioned and have the backend support
I know it's an area that could definitely improve but i have never had an issue with a device and members that have had any issues have all been supported by Wondas warranty service.
Squeae screen is not good for video content. Without crop wide format video on inner sreen is same size as on outer screen. Thats why for watching video I use mostly tent mode. On squre screen need to compromise, crop sides to have 4:3 aspect. Thats why Im waiting for two times foldables

I bought the pro model almost 2 weeks ago and I love it. No chance of going back. I haven't touched my Vivo X Note since using this.

5 days without charge means you done absolutely nothing that would cause the gen 3 to heat and cause issue ...

You can use any 3rd party launchers with the vivo x fold 3 pro. Go to settings/security/more security settings/repace the system launcher.

How much better is the x fold 3 from the x fold 3 pro when it comes to battery life? How much longer will the battery life last you? I got the x fold 3 pro and it's a beast, I love it. But I've been kinda bummed with battery life so far. I bought it because I wanted better battery life then my oneplus open and it's been better than my oneplus open but not significantly. I am heavy phone user and battery life is important to me.

@@AverageDadOfficial how would you say battery life compares to iPhone 15 Pro Max for example on the fold 3? I had the iphone 15 pro max before my open and I miss the battery life on that. It lasted me forever. I want to easily be able to make it through the day with heavy usage and I can't do that with the fold 3 pro without charging it. I woke up at 8 this morning and I would say I have used it medium usage and it is already down to 69%. It is 11:30am now where I am at.
Got a OnePlus Open I not finished paying for yet! Bubbles I am not ready to upgrade YET...

Because I strange but a lot of test say x20 is 6e compatible but it's not real it's ax and 7 ready it's seems the vivo in the normal version is the same.

Bubbles , I am late 😅 I need this phone , I am switching my Xiaomi 12t and I want really to get a foldable but all a bit expensive and considering that used the s24 ultra is same price or cheaper I am doubting myself but I would love a foldable to use for my final year as an engineer student in France 😅

The XFold3 looks and performs so well! I just wish they would work on the design of the OS to look better. This is where I prefer the design of Samsung's OneUI even with its bugs, as a ZFold4 user. Any chance you'll do the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro Global Variant? Its getting released in India, 6 June, with FunTouch OS. Originally, you said that it wasn't going to be released global, now Vivo decided to get it global. Note, only the XFold3P is global, not the standard.

Bubbles. X fold 3 on its way. The only reason I went for the standard over the pro. Weight was always an issue for me using foldables. They have come a long way. The other reason was price. This much phone for under £1k.

One plus fold is my favorite.
i have the samsung Galaxy x fold5 which i love but one reason i dont have one of the others you mentioned is complicated ordering and trust of ordering...in the US its harder to get the other brands you mentioned and have the backend support
I know it's an area that could definitely improve but i have never had an issue with a device and members that have had any issues have all been supported by Wondas warranty service.

Squeae screen is not good for video content. Without crop wide format video on inner sreen is same size as on outer screen. Thats why for watching video I use mostly tent mode. On squre screen need to compromise, crop sides to have 4:3 aspect. Thats why Im waiting for two times foldables

Checking at the bands, will work more on Verizon networt(4 bands), 2nd T-Mobile(3 bands), last At&t (1 band). Not worth for US
