My dad died a bit over 2 years ago. It’s nothing anyone could ever prepare you for nor could you explain what you’re feeling to anyone. There were times where I didn’t think I could ever get through it or where I thought I couldn’t survive the pain I was feeling but one thing I can say as someone who has gone through something similar to what you’re going through right now is that you will become a whole person again. You probably won’t be the same as you were before but you will be able to feel emotions again like you used to and there will even be a point where you will be able to think fondly of memories with your lost loved one without feeling like pain. You will be okay again even if it doesn’t seem possible now. I’m sending you energy and strength to persevere through this❤️

I just graduated and suddenly I am having to move to a new place and start my new job and it's all so exciting and I feel truly blessed and happy. But at the same time, I am feeling sad that my old life is going away, fearful that everything is changing and I also feel a lot of chaos in my mind due to the shifting and working and everything happening at once. I definitely needed to be reminded of the reversible vs irreversible change thing...because it's absolutely true that there's almost nothing that's actually truly irreversible. There are times when you speak and my heart goes, 'Oh I love Rowena!' And gosh mindblown with the reversible decisions list. It helped me figured out that I had been keeping myself stuck to shame, guilt, and the opinions of others if I had to reverse the decision so I was looking at almost all decisions as irreversible decisions. There are times when you speak and my heart goes, 'Oh I love Rowena!' And gosh mindblown with the reversible decisions list. It helped me figured out that I had been keeping myself stuck to shame, guilt, and the opinions of others if I had to reverse the decision so I was looking at almost all decisions as irreversible decisions. Loved the Robin Williams bit, I went back to that scene about 5 times it made me laugh and then cry... thank you for sharing your light. You are amazing!

then, i finally started to do more of self-discovery from that day on (thanks to your vids also). my sense of self is now much stable compared before and comparing myself to others is not as cruel as before too.
