#6 is absolutely the most important point of all. After trying few practices, it’s more than obvious that 15 seconds of preparation time is incredibly short for this task (I can’t even do this in my native language if I’m totally honest). You just quickly come up with 2 or 3 reasons to support the choice, which also convinced me that using the template is quite essential. Otherwise you’re gonna stutter a lot while answering. Thank you again!

Given the choice between spending weekends outdoors and staying at home, I believe that staying at home is better for two reasons. (show your clear position)
Firstly, staying at home enables individuals to relax and recharge their batteries in a comfortable and familiar environment, which is essential for mental health and productivity (reason 1). For example, having a quiet weekend at home can help someone recover from a long week of work or study (relevant example).
Secondly, staying at home provides an opportunity for personal growth and development through activities like reading, learning a new skill, or pursuing a hobby (reason 2). For instance, someone can use their free time at home to learn a new language or practice a musical instrument. (relevant example)

Thank you for this, it's very useful. However, one problem I have is that I have trouble coming up with reasons. For example, the question about whether going outside at the weekend is better than staying home, I would spend the time I got for preparing my answer trying to think of reasons for why either side would be better, and of course, the time frame to do that is way too small. What are some tips you have to come up with arguments for your opinion so quickly?

    • @juva

I'm so glad it's helpful to you! I highly recommend thinking about your personal experience. This is usually the fastest way to come up with ideas. For example, think about your weekends: What do you do? Do you stay inside or do you go outside? When do you feel better? I'm sure that you can come up very quickly with two fantastic ideas why one or the other is better. Hope this helps :)

In my opinion, spending time doing outdoor activities on the weekend has many advantages for me and for others.
I feel this way for two reasons:
First, I think that outdoor activities are beneficial for a person's health. For example, hiking helps me relax and unwind, especially during the weekend.
Second, I believe that outdoor activities greatly boost energy and improve physical well-being. For instance, exercising always puts me in a good mood.

Hi Juva, thank you for great content that you provide ! .I have one question related to section answer choice. You mentioned that one answer must be chosen but "Official Guide to the TOEFL iBT Test, Sixth Edition" PAGE 166 stated that you could combine both answer if you choose them based on specific cases but you need to explain that. In the video task I could say that spending the weekend outside depends on the weather condition if it too cold I prefer go stay inside and because it will make me sick and if not I think going outside is the better choice because it will be good to my health. Am I right or missed understand it ? .

Hi Khalid, there may be several ways to answer this question. I'd recommend choosing one side because you don't have much time to deliver your answers and explain a lot. Choosing one side makes it easier to give a concise and well-structured answer. Hope this helps!
