I thought I'd seen Wild post on Instagram recently that they have started changing the material for the refills so it won't break down during normal use. I think the idea is that it just breaks down in compost and water won't affect it. They also showed photos of it after 2 months in a composter and it broke down very well, not completely but significantly. I think they were just using up the old ones first but some people have already been sent the new material bottles. I don't use the body wash myself as i can't because of my skin condition, but i will be trying their deodorant. I like to see what they get up to in terms of sustainability to see if they are actually an eco friendly brand or if it's just greenwashing. So far they do seem pretty eco friendly but still care about customer experience
Hey such a good point, I do remember seeing this photo but I didn’t see the bit with water mentioning, thanks for letting me know:) I meant in the video that content creators didn’t mention or show how it gets over time, and tips etc. I got sent one of the newer bottles and had no idea but noticed it during the review (winter one) looks like plastic but it’s clever! I think CS could improve to be honest but I like what they are aiming for in terms of sustainability, I will review any company that has similar values if its product that works! As someone with sensitive skin I feel you, but hoping I can review also more inclusive skincare to showcase stuff for everyone - so bear me in mind if you have ideas! :)

Thank you for this video and for answering to my question! 😊
It was a great question and a good excuse to talk about the body wash! :D
