- This is our first day in La Union. We soon discover that we need to get some supplies to make our next week visiting with my parents more comfortable so we take a trip to the shopping center via Philippine tricycle. We could have opted to take a Jeepney, but we were doing a lot of shopping so the Jeepney would have not been as convenient. Traveling around in the la union tricycle is a very open air experience. I am so amazed at how many people can fit inside as well as how much stuff you can be loaded in and on it. Check out this video and let me know what you think.

Hey Jigs, hahaha... get a ticket to buy an hdmi cable. You remembered! Yeah, makes sense since they keep everything behind glass. If all the products were out and they just had a register, they probably wouldn't need a ticketing system...but Philippines seem to like the ticketing system.

Hey Rochi, the house has AC in each room, but my parents tend to keep it off to save on electricity. I just run it in the room I'm in, but when you go outside and it's 40 degrees C, can't help but sweat. Thanks for the feedback!

I have visited the Philippines 6 times and always enjoyed my visits...however I cannot ride in Tricycles because of my size I'm 6'6" 370 and the poor tricycle drivers always refuse me and think its funny....assholes!

noahman1234 they do but most countries in Asia (including other countries in Europe/MiddleEast/SouthAmerica) only use the washer and air dry their clothes. Or only use the dryers in the winter/rainy weather when it’s cold or when they are in a hurry!

Well considering he lives in Japan where everything is orderly and everyone is polite. It is a stark contrast to a third world country like the Philippines. Heck I'm a Filipino and I hate it here. Everyone is so inconsiderate.
