How to use the Brother MuVit Compact Dual Feed Foot

QUESTION: I want to know how to clean this MuVit foot. I just finished a large quilt with it. I had to clean the excess lint that built up on my machine, needle bar and bobbin area. Which makes me question: this lint probably found its way inside my MuVit foot as the belt is constantly rotating taking the lint with it. Please advise. Thanks

Hi, you can wipe the exterior but not really the inside, it's encased and should be fine

I love my brother machine and I used the move it foot for the first time but I hear like a rubbing sound with the belt and it that usally what it does? I do not want to break it

Hi there, when you say rubbing sound can you clarify, can you send us an email to [e-mail] and we can help you.
Perhaps because it hasn't been used, it's just breaking in.
Perhaps you have the pressure down too much of its thick?
We might need a few more details because this is a new question we've not had anyone ask before 😊
