as a client, i have to pay more to buy food. for e.g. item is sold for 100 in a food shop, zomato will charge 160 for the same item and they charge delivery fee extra (15-20). so for the food which you supposed spend 100+your time+pertrol, now you are paying 80 rupees +with less quantity+taste varies because food will be cold.
damn their hyperpure is sick! hope they get it to other parts of the world. they can challenge amazon im sure. flipkart to nahi kar payi but zomato mein dum hai
Honestly, the video was absolutely amazing . Keep up the good work 👍. But it was quite unsettling as you told they are exploiting their delivery with a cheerful face, honestly a little weird, but I believe you will work up on that in the future.
In the 4th minute Achina states - "How is GOV shooting up when the number of transacting users and AOV has stayed the same" - that math does not make sense - incase power users are transacting there - there should be a rise in AOV. Please Explain.
@@Nehas06 How is repeated orders increasing AOV ?..... kindly explain Example - If today i am making 2 orders of 200rs each and tomorrow making 4 orders of 200rs each , then how more orders are increasing my AOV. It's the same 200 for both days
It's interesting how Aevy TV explained their business model so in-depth but skipped on Deferred Tax Credits like it was nothing. Would have loved to hear more on that.
There is one more vertical where they make a lot of money, is where they run ad campaigns for restaurants and charge around rs10 + gst on an average, that's good source of money too
Yesterday I ordered 2 items for total 200 RS from Zomato then after order acceptance restaurant called me that there is only one item available from your order so I told them to refund me for 1 and remaining one to send, so I got 125 refund out of 200 but order was delayed by Zomato so they give me coupon worth 113 thus I get free uttapam with 38 RS from Zomato❤
Tax credit is a deferred tax asset, and it is based significantly on management estimates. If management in future thinks it might not earn enough profits to makes use of this DTA, it will have to reduce it, making profit in future period lower. So, this profit is majorly an accounting phenomenon. Its far more prudent to asess the cash flow of the company.
@Aevy tv.. in the profit comparison of samosa vs biriyani, you guys made a small mistake. When the biriyani cost itself 500rs, how would you make a profit of 450 out if it..
Expanding into Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities is never going to yield profits for food and grocery delivery platforms. The sooner companies realise this and focus to capture market in high-income zones the sooner they are going to report profits.
