We’re probably a 6-8 win team with a chance to be a little better if Jayden plays well. Mainly I just care about Jayden playing well and destroying the giants both times.
I completely agree if we can go a competitive 7-10 or 8-9 and Jayden plays well I’ll be happy with the season and be looking forward to the future for the first time ever
Kinda sad that you care so much about beating the giants, and the giants forget the redskins even exist. Talk about a one sided rivalry.
@@lucrative6477 yep. At least with the cowboys and eagles they’re good teams so im not confused why we lose to them. The giants make no sense why we lose to them we need to flip the script and make it one sided in our favor.
Exactly man I’ll take that if it means we get competitive again and look like a team with a plan on offense and defense that’s all I need to stay excited about the future not everybody gon be the Texans even tho we can dream lol
commanders have a great future. with the coaching staff and gm i can see them being built up to be super bowl contenders in like 3 years. there is pieces on the team to.
Totally disagree on safety. Chinn and Martin will play before Butler gets on the field. Butler may not make the team.
hey Broshmo! i apreciate this content and your honesty about 2024 wins and losses prediction. i am a huge Redskins fan, and with that being said i just need you to know.......from the jay gruden era his season records were 4-12, 9-7, 8-7-1, 7-9, 7-9, and finally 3-13. with the ron rivera era! his record was 7-9, 7-10, 8-8-1, and finally 4-13. do you notice a pattern here?????
we never go back to back 3-13 or 4-13.......we usually end up around 7-10 or 8-8. i think your prediction is a little off, i know my team is not great yet!!! but remember this team has a new owner, a new front office, and a new coaching staff! do not expect this team to be the same it has been for the past 25 years under Dan Snyder!! the owner does make a huge difference!! I'm not SAYING!! I'M JUST SAYING
Mayhew is still here though, he was with Adam Peters in SF, he just got demoted but will likely be one of the few from the previous staff to survive.
I was 1 of the few Commanders fans that wasn't on the Ben Johnson hype train and had DQ as my HC2 in the process only after the Next Gen version of him in Mike Macdonald. I had DQ so high, not just because I thought he was a great coach, but also because he of all the candidates had the best ability to build out a great staff, and IMO he did not disappoint. Joe Whitt & Ken Norton were the top names I wanted him to bring along, along with Al Harris, but Dallas put the kibosh on their division rival completely raiding their cabinets. I also wanted a defensive HC, because OCs like Kingsbury, Waldren, Leftwich, Reich, Kubiak, Robinson, and a few more were are out there. Onto the roster, I agree about Cosmi, he should be at tackle, and he could be a damn good one, I think with Kingsbury classically putting those guys on islands that Cosmi and the rookie Coleman( who are 1 and 3 in RAS at OG in at least the last 7 years) who have the athleticism to deal with speed off the edge, along with Stromberg showed promise at guard the little bit of action he saw, and he's an underratted player who should get a real shot in this offense. I would take Paul or Daniels if he's ready over Allegretti or Wylie at GUARD, Putting Paul back on the right side could help him, I thought he looked way better than Wylie last year and Allegretti is year 2 in a row of us taking KC's weakest OL piece, doesn't make sense to me. I think Mason Brooks McCaffery is also playing mostly outside at camp, I loved him for the range I thought we should be looking at WR in the draft after Corley was off the board and guys I thought we'd have a shot at went WAY earlier (Legette/Pearsall).
The staff LOVES him and he's the biggest WR we got outside of the bubble guys Treymane & RJS so it'll likely be him and Terry outside with Jahan in the slot. I disagree about Forbes tho, Dallas had a top 30 visit with him pre-draft, his skill set was something DQ was interested in and even if it takes a little time for him to work his way in, he's ultimately that Ball hawk type they loved in Dallas.
I was a Sam Howell truther(Who's now in Seattle with my HC1), I thought Howell, MHJ, and 2 offensive linemen at the top of the 2nd would have done more to help the team than any of the QBs in the draft(though I was more of a JJ guy of the choices) but hearing all the national talk after the draft and feeling the energy coming out of mini-camp has me a lil excited. I comped Jayden to RG3 before the draft in an unfavorable way for the late breakout Heisman year but with the new regime and competent coaching, I could see a surprise rookie playoff run just like RG3 had. Hopefully, Jayden will stay healthy and it won't be a flash like RG3's was but a glimpse of what's to come as Adam Peters builds us into perennial contenders like San Fran..
Did yall watch TFG’s deep dive for the commanders/football team/ redskins
SI...it was really good
What’s tfg
@@HpcZclan that franchise guy
Commanders babyyyy🔥🔥🔥🔥
As a commanders fan I think this is pretty spot on. I do think our defense will be better now that we have competent linebackers and better coaching/scheme.
I hope JD5 plays well, but we just don’t have very good weapons for him. Terry is getting older and Jahan is WR3 on most teams. Not to mention the giant hole at LT! It’s going to be massive difference from what he had at LSU.
Commanders are so unpredictable. Commander Nation is very nervous with our Offensive Line, we can not have our new Rookie QB running for his life. I do think our Defense is underrated. Time will tell, but they could surprise some people. Nice independent evaluation. #HTTC
Is it interesting that Zach Ertz is basically considered in career hospice, at 33. And no one says the same of Travis Kelce, who is 34? 😅
Kelce has been good the last 5 years. That’s the main difference…
@@lucrative6477 kelce is elite. But would they still have dissimilar comparisons if Ertz played with Mahomes the last 5 years instead of Kelce?
@@kevintheprf6132 ertz problems hasn’t been qb. It’s been his inability to stay healthy. He’s played in less than half the games over the last 4 seasons, and he wasn’t exactly great before then.
@@lucrative6477 True but I don't expect him to be great. I expect him to be better than what was there last year.
A D+ is insane lol. Prolly wont be better than 7-10, 8-8 but you stay hatin on the Commanders. If JD5 is any better than Sam Howell and Dan Quinn fixes the secondary, they are winning the division no question
So when I was hating last year I was right?
ur buggin commanders are ass
I was absolutely P!$$3D that they didn't get Ben Johnson, but that aggravation has quickly ebbed after seeing how many players have come to Washington JUST because of our staff here, especially Quinn. Look, I do not blame Johnson for not wanting to leave Detroit. Especially since he would be leaving a playoff team with asperations of a Super Bowl next year AND he would be heading a total team rebuild. Add that to watching them build through FA acquisitions, basically throwing bodies at what was a very bad team last year, thus allowing them to draft the best possible player at their draft picks instead of chasing NEED! Which as we have seen over the past decade + hasn't worked out very well for us. The draft was well run and I for one am just happy to have adults who KNOW football running the team!!! I have us going anywhere from 7-10 wins this year, I would LOVE us to be like 9-8 and backend into the playoffs, wouldn't THAT be amazing!!! HTTC!!!
Idk why commanders fans got the panties in a bunch. We don’t know how this team is going to look. Defense should be better but o line is still a concern and who knows how Daniels will fare. Let’s not forget if any injuries take place on the squad
We don't know what the commanders gone do. Remember this is literally a brand new team from top to bottom. Don't use last year to measure this team because we have never seen this commanders team ever
Great Job!!!!.... So Funny you are the exact oppisite from all other .analyst .Your Grades are very low.. I am not crazy but I think Dan Q will be closer to a C+ for Defense..
Yeah my grades in this series are pretty low since it's based on where I have them ranked in comparison to the league.
u know ball
Damn this isn't a playoff team but worst team in the league is savage. I don't think the Commanders are the worst team in the division.
They clearly are. Have been for the majority of the decade.
@@lucrative6477 This current ownership, front office, staff, and roster has nothing to do with the past decade.
@@kevintheprf6132 it’s the same roster give or take a handful of players. They are a subpar squad. The roster is worst than it was last year before losing your d line.
@@lucrative6477 Handful? Dude we have 6 new starters each on both sides of the ball. Your proving your knowledge of this team is casual at best.
@@kevintheprf6132 new player =/= better player. When you grasp that concept you’ll understand what everyone is telling you.
I bet you will have the Patriots making the playoffs
Am I a patriots fan?
We about to prove so many folks wrong🥱 just wait until the season starts
Edit: the way you disrespected Emmanuel Forbes is wild bro😂 I need to find this video after every interception to add a tally
He played bad last year and is probably a bad fit for Quinn's defense. Where is the lie? Is the truth disrespectful?
Luke McCaffrey is playing the X Receiver Bro
Over McLaurin? Okay lol
Martin Mayhew is still with Washington btw
Si but he is not the gm
You’re about to be so wrong… I hope you know that…. We’ll be back when the season comes to remind you
👍
I don't see why not -- only watched him in 2 games and he's electric. I don't think he's a bust like Caleb Williams, Bryce Young, or Trevor Lawrence.
Wow, there’s some butt hurt Commanders fans in the comments. They’ve got a tough season upcoming, but hey, they’re going the right way… it’s just going to take you a number of years
as a washington fan I like this take as more of a reality check lol, i’m biased and we have a long way to undo the terrors that Ron and Dan Snyder did in 4 years. But one plus we have is a lot of young talent that hasn’t gotten to showcase 90% of their abilities like jeremy reaves, Brian Robinson, Jahan, Emmanuel, Qaun, Rick, etc rough start right now but bright future
I agree. I think most importantly they have the right coaching staff in place. Many people soured on Kliff in AZ, but I am interested to see what he does as an OC.
The DT P.Mathis hasn’t done anything the last two years and is truly irrelevant. The S Percy butler started due to lack of competition and injuries..he will be a back up/ST.
Love how you’re focusing on specific teams, but this was pretty out of touch and a quick skim of local beat reports will paint a very different picture.
This what Panthers fans told me last year when I said Terrace Marshall wouldn't be a starter. Could you just disagree without trying to act like I know nothing? Obviously I do. Doesn't mean I'll be right.
@Broshmo The Commander's are going to the playoffs in 2024! You are so off it's funny. I can't wait till your Phins get demolished again next season & still overpay Tua!
Fins can't hurt me
He’s not off
Does this guy even watch ball??
I do and normally with your mom
@@Broshmo that escalated quickly
@@Broshmothat would have been a good joke if your wife wouldn't kill you
Who is to say his mom isn't my wife lol
@@Broshmo that’s right slowbro watches ball with my mom cause he’s my daddy
Yall commanders fans are delusional! 💀😂😂😂
I'm losing respect for you Broshmo...you are way off bro... the Commanders will win 8 games minimum. I predict 9-8 or 10-7.. 3-14 is a crazy
Yea you sound silly and clearly don’t study and watch football enough to know your team ceiling in wins next year is 6 …so 3-14 looks pretty clutch … you’ll be picking top 5 next season nonetheless
@@jaybyrdjones950 so you really think we gonna do worse than with ron rivera? put the pipe down
@jaybyrdjones950 that's hella ironic
Are we going to pretend like the rest of the NFL didn't get better either? Teams underperform every year for a variety of reasons. You sound like Panthers and Giants fans when I said both would win no more than seven games 🤨
@@Broshmono way you compared us to panthers and giants fans😂 we actually got better they just added to their roster big difference
