I watched the crowd to see if any of them panicked. You'd think someone would have seen the plane wobbling and thought, "Holy cow! It's out of control! It might crash on us!" But I don't think anyone panicked.
As I understand it the fire retardant that is dropped is dropped on areas close to the actual burning area. By doing this the vegetation is coated with the retardant making it difficult for the fire to burn the vegetation and advance. I was on a fire where a spotter plane came in low with loud sirens on notifying ground crews that the fire retardant plane was coming and all crews need to lay on the ground so not to be injured by the retardant as it was being dropped. As the plane came over and dropped it’s load some of the firefighters were lightly covered with the retardant.
That purple-colored fire-retardant can't be compressed carbon dioxide because it will evaporate before reaching the ground and will cause substantial California-wide greenhouse warming. Alchemists say "that fire-retardant on the sky is just water infused with lots of FDA approved food-grade red color." Spotters will never find out the exact chemical constituents because of proprietary patent held by California Attorney General inside a ☢️ radioactive safe beneath the west coast bunker near the wildfire.
I was flying on a company twin engine prop plane one time where the pilots were given permission to fly low along the Columbia River that flows between Oregon and Washington. You got the sensation of how fast the plane was fly. To me it felt like I was in a fighter plane going over the river.
Clickbait. The landing didn't go wrong, they didn't land at all, they were on approach and the pilot did exactly what they were supposed to do and go around. Maybe you should talk to an actual commercial pilot before naming your videos with clickbait titles.
1:00 There's no landmarks to compare, how far the plane is. With good camera, it can be few miles, and the aircraft doesn't has to be completely configured yet. With full video we could see the real distance, but "unfortunately" the video is cut in the middle.
What went "wrong" with the 757 landing. They went around. If it went wrong, they would have tried to plant it on the runway. And since the video was cut, how do we know the landing gear came down "unusually late"?
That happy face
1:51 It is the Airbus Beluga XL (A330-743L), the successor of the Airbus Beluga (A300B4-600ST)!
Wow the first one is scary

in many ways the 747 is still the most impressive looking aircraft
0:06 I gotta love the people starting to run when the plane is rolling… if it’s going down you’re going down with it…
Not if I have an emergency evacuation seat. I will be ejected up while the plane goes down.

"Gear down for land landing. skwaak!"
I assume the Beluga doesn't have landing gear like a 747 because it's for aircraft parts that are light?🤔
Mostly because it's an Airbus
Yup, the Beluga is more about the bay size than the weight.
What a sensational title. I did not hear anything on the news that a plane crashed. What a crap to get attention for your video.

1:37 but can it kneel?
Ahhhhh
The last clip just for what I saw on the ground I knew it was SJO, by the way I never had such a smoth landing there, always rough ones...
Where was the shadow plane landing - I'm thinking Manchester UK?
2:16 That's SJO airport in Costa Rica.
Bro. Are you change your voice to an Ai? Or you get burn out? it’s so different than last year.
Banger compilation as always, Lucaas!
757s are known for "landing" in weird places
Proper term is fire challengement.
Or fire specialment 🤣🤣🤣
the moment you see the wings drop like that, jeese, pilots must have shit themselves and hit TOGA harder than they have in their lives.
Did Kelsey screw up again?
2:37 did we just witness a soft landing with Ryanair ??

Great video as usual
Snoring.
Cool 😎
"croswing landing goes wrong" ? Absolutely not. Just gusty wings and a pilot deciding to go around to avoid any problem. No big deal and stupid title.
Damn, some people in the first clip actually started running because they thought the plane was about to go down on them.
Does anyone think the Boeing 757 looks like an Airbus A321?
747 was hard to tell if landing gear was deployed to late , but did not appear to be that late
What a great video of both these mighty machines the 747 freighter as well as the Beluga. If only the DREAMLIFTER and A380 were shown as well....
I think now you don't upload anything special & different about aviation. Now you have started to upload normal aviation videos.

Another hyped up video, the go around first film was a standard manoeuvre, Another channel that’s very poor

That is what went wrong, that it couldn't land. Hence the go-around.
That Beluga with its smile artwork is so aptly named. Was worried for a tail strike though.
very interesting video
What went wrong?
East Midlands was my local airport when I still lived in the UK.
