Another great podcast. As I try to rebuild the relationship with my wife, I find love is hard. We have been married almost 38 years, and I have never really loved her. Through our married life, I see now that each of us was living for ourselves. It is only recently that I have began to look at our relationship and seen this. Old habits are hard to break, but through my true acceptance of Christ in my life, I find it easier and easier to turn to Him for strength to better the relationship. My wife has poor self-esteem, so I find frustration when the first thing out of her mouth "What did I do wrong?" Christ is continually giving me the patience to talk with her about this. I have hope that she will come to know someday that even with what she feels are her imperfections, are not so with God. She has many good traits, but always looks at the negative. Faith, hope and love are in me, trying to get out and help her see the good in things, including herself.
Thank you pastor Erwin and Aaron...Brilliant message, its a Real Talk and that is what so many in church need. I talk with people often at church and they believe in God etc but are surviving in their walk verse thriving cause they don't know how to apply the weekend sermon to the struggles or trials they are going thru in their personal life. Like faith hope and love. That sounds Awesome but what does that mean and how do you apply it when your marriage is on the verge of divorce, or your kids addicted and going down the work road, or you just found out your mother in law has cancer. Messages like these give people examples thru your stories that give them tips and tools they can use in their everyday life/walk. Gb Mosaic
