- Season 04, Episode 114 (day twenty four): sup crew! welcome to opening weekend at snowbasin ski resort! we met up with long-time stoke squad supporter and snowbasin local, roberto diaz, for a sleeper mini pow day at snowbasin! no lines, fresh snow, high stoke and just all around good vibes led to arguably the most fun day of the season so far!

East is getting pretty good snow right now.
Loaf had good conditions a week ago, saddle should have good coverage.

Cool to see you at Snow Basin. I did the Giant slalom there just after the Olympics in Salt Lake. Very cool place.

Snowbasin is my favorite. Skied there from the “shack” before Earl upgraded the facilities for the Olympics. Love the lodges and gondolas. Also, great food. Many days in whiteout conditions and wind on Strawberry!

I ran into this at Snowbasin last year. And I didn't have my yellow lenses. Fun by scary. As usual, you are still rippin' it though! Also your Armadas just float! I need to get some pow skis haha

What is your opinion on photochromic lenses like the ones from FlyLow,? I haven't had a lot of low vis to test them with but they work fine otherwise
Damn, I was also at Snowbasin yesterday. Bummer I didn't bump into you. The visibility got really bad after 3pm. Couldn't see past 10 ft. But it was a great first day of the season for me.

at 7:05 im pretty sure that was a resort worker telling you to slow down not waving at you, as you were kind of passing everyone in a green slope, and further down we see another person 7:22 in the exact pants and jacket as that guy
nah she was waving at me and said hello. besides, there’s no rule that says you can’t pass people on a green. They are there to make sure people are staying in control and not being reckless.
aah, here at the local resort in norway, green slopes usually have patrol standing around like that making sure people are not flying down the beginner slopes making it dangerous for actual beginners, been yelled at for going a bit speedy down one before so XD@@LucasCatania17

Long skis truck short skis suck. My shiros are 193s years ago Volkyl made a 203 length shiro…and my Kastle Pow skis are 193..I’m like 5’11 and heavy…when I used to race I was on 176s and 170s and even skied then in powder like 63 underfoot insane.
