But as I start taking him, he mentioned to me that he needed to go home to Valencia, CA which is 30 minutes (25 miles) further. I told him to just put it in but he wanted to pay me cash instead. I said NO. He said his phone is not working to put Valencia in. I asked for his phone and put it in for him. It worked just fine. He got mad and let me know about it as I reluctantly drove him to Valencia.1 hour after finally dropping him off, Lyft cut me off. They said I was drunk driving. I wasn't. They cut me back on days later while never explaining to me what happened overall. But I already knew. The app is great but the people behind the app...
I was at a 4.98 my rating dropped to 4.95 in less than a day. A lot of false reports that weekend. I didn't know what the heck was going on. And actually Uber and Lyft knows how fast we are driving. They also know fast braking hell they can even tell if our phones are mounted. Yet they STILL let these riders mess up our ratings and account. And as far as false reporting most of the time they sit quietly in your car....NO INCIDENT WHATSOEVER. Hell they see we give the rider 5 stars and the rider gives us 1 star. They know nothing happened. They just don't care.

ATL driver here. I received notice from UBER about 3 weeks ago that UBER will eliminate rider ratings who constantly give out low ratings to drivers. Ive always been hovered around 4.98 for the past 4 years but this last 8months or so I kept getting lower and lower. Until finally I was down to 4.92 Then after I got the notice they were getting rid of the low rating rider my record shot up back up to 4.98.
I have been driving for Uber and Lyft for 7 years full time my star ⭐️ rating is 4.95, I have done 26 thousand trips. Been everywhere even out of Georgia. I work so hard like sleeping in QT gas station even though I have an apartment. Sometimes I spent 2 to 3 days outside driving for this company. I drove through Covid, riders have treated me with guns 3 times, 2 new cars gone wear and tear because of this job those were my personal cars. so many bad riders. Some bad riders report something that didn’t happened just to get free ride. Even when I had back pain for months I still drove, Because of false report uber permanently deactivated my account, Lyft did the same after 20 days. Uber said a rider report I was abusing them, Lyft said a rider report I was touching their legs, like how?? wtf Am in the front seat driving what time do I have to touch them, after all this years this is how they say good bye. The button line is Uber or Lyft don’t care about the drivers. 65 percent of the riders don’t respect Uber or Lyft drivers,the company don’t care about their drivers sadly the drivers is just a tool for the job. Not a good idea for full time, my fellow brothers and sisters, if you are currently driving for Uber or Lyft please have another job on the side just Incase plan B! You never know when they will kick you out, just a matter of time.

Over a year ago i had a pax report me to uber for supposedly pushing and punching him in the face. i got reactivated by showing the video of what happened, it was because i was driving a XL at the time and he wanted me to load 2 extremely large bags and like a bag of skies, when i explained to him that he ordered a X and not the XL and these items wouldve never fit in a standard uber. He had gotten mad and said i will do what he wants or else. The else was a false report that got me deactivated, really wish i would have learned i could have sued the rich kid for making up total bs
Great info. It’s comforting to know that there are drivers out there looking out for others. Does this apply to suspensions? My account has been suspended three times in the last few weeks because of false reporting, but I when only lost hundreds of dollars. Fortunately, I know how to fight and I always remind them that I have nearly 30,000 rides and a 5-star rating. But it is exhausting, humiliating, and insulting. I worry a lot about drivers who get deactivated and don’t know what to do. I would love to participate in someway in helping people being deactivated.
Most 1 or 2 stars are mostly from riders from the hood. That's why most drivers avoid the hood and they have surge pricing practically all the time. 😂🤣

My ratings hit 5.99. None of the drinking and partying. None of their entitled bullshit, none of their just outright lies. Especially their college kids. Can I drink Can I I vape Where are the chargers you’re supposed to supply us Leave trash Want to pickup the entire crew from multiple locations More people than can fit. I’m rich but hell no I’m not ordering Uber black to the Frick or airport or to pick me up. No I’ll order a regular XL hoping to get an older black vehicle or an X knowing many drivers have large black vehicles. Just yesterday, I was working Uber, I pull over to get a bite. I go to check my ratings which have changed in over a month I see, illegal driving, distracted by phone, ignoring requests. So I'm confused as to this so I call in. While I'm on the phone, I notice my rating change from the star ratings. A 1 star changed to a 5 star. Strange! Then I hang up with the rep, finish my food, go to log back on to finish out my time and my account been blocked. Wtf. Try to call back in, after business hours. Now the ratings part doesn't show that, but I get a message saying both of our (complainer & I) accounts are on hold now till further investigation. I miss out on the rest of my time to drive plus a possible 48 hours for libel. What can I do?

Hello, I had a rider who spit on my face and Lyft held my account for a few days because of a false report that rider that I was assaulted the rider. I sent the footage of the incident but Lyft ignored the video. It seems that drivers salves for them.
Next month, taking Lyft to court. Justice will be served by the judge. Gig rocket and its team continues to help me and they will do so now with the response Lyft paralegal sent by letter to me.

I am not sure if anyone else had this issue. I drive a EV and I had 2 people reported I was speeding. I find myself now telling riders look I an not speeding is a EV and it may feel like I am speeding look at the dash.

I have had a lot of compliments on my driving - I don't zoom around town - but I don't drive like a scared immigrant or an old man either, and I get a lot of compliments, because I AM A GOOD DRIVER. If another car is driving too slowly, I will pass them, because I AM A GOOD DRIVER, I know if I was a passenger and the driver was too scared or goody two shoes to pass a slow driver, then I would be very upset. Don't drive recklessly but drive like a Man!! Take some control out there! Plus, no matter if you are a 5 Star, these companies will find a reason to get rid of you anyways!!! Or the computer will do it. Does a human actually look at your record, look at the complaint? Aren't a lot of these Deactivations done by a computer anyways? Thus, why there are so many unnecessary Deactivations? Don't try too hard, just like with a regular job, you can work a lot, do a good job, and they'll still lay you off/fire you anyways. Have a second gig/job ready as a backup, that's really all that you can do.
NYC I had DEACTIVATED from uber .driving drink Or drowsy . It's been 3 months and Lyft is SUPER SLOWWWW 6 HOURS other day for $86 . . I just did my 6 hour class to renew my TLC licence and found out the black car fund they can help . I'll go back tomorrow (if we broke we don't have $70 to pay and its not even 100% we get back job ) it should be like $20 and you take $50 after we back working .

Yeap its same way here in Chicago. People always complain about why the rates are so much higher in urban communities? Well I'll tell them people avoid it because so many riders in these communities are always reporting false claims against the drivers. So they avoid these areas which drives up surge prices.

Just yesterday, I was working Uber, I pull over to get a bite. I go to check my ratings which have changed in over a month I see, illegal driving, distracted by phone, ignoring requests. So I'm confused as to this so I call in. While I'm on the phone, I notice my rating change from the star ratings. A 1 star changed to a 5 star. Strange! Then I hang up with the rep, finish my food, go to log back on to finish out my time and my account been blocked. Wtf. Try to call back in, after business hours. So I want to chat with a representative online, only option now. They are taking their sweet time responding. Then I get a message saying that I was reported as being under the influence. Wtf. Now the ratings part doesn't show that, but I get a message saying both of our (complainer & I) accounts are on hold now till further investigation. I miss out on the rest of my time to drive plus a possible 48 hours for libel. What can I do?

Yo I need to see the success rate of drivers who were deactivated, and used gig rocket to get reactivated. I mean writing a letter and have to file a lawsuit claim, seems pretty common now. I had a rider who spit on my face and Lyft held my account for a few days because of a false report that rider that I was assaulted the rider. I sent the footage of the incident but Lyft ignored the video. It seems that drivers salves for them.
Next month, taking Lyft to court. Justice will be served by the judge. Gig rocket and its team continues to help me and they will do so now with the response Lyft paralegal sent by letter to me.

I was deactivated because of this I picked up a passenger named Elizabeth at the San Jose Valley Medical Hospital she stated to me that she was standing in front of the hospital I waited in front of the hospital at the pin Mark for the five minutes and could not see her icon the little yellow man so I tried to cancel the ride and I had to call her to cancel the ride I called her and she didn't answer the phone then she called me back she said to me in clear English with a Cantonese accent I am waiting for you at the back of the hospital I go to the back of the hospital at the emergency room where she said she was waiting for a 70-year old lady and Two Gentlemen of the same age group tried to get into the car the lady open the door and said to me" I wait for taxi" what I said to her I'm sorry man but I'm not a taxi and she closed the door and I drove off and gave Lyft explanation of why I cancelled this ride but yet I discriminated against the Asian person because they're Asian and again they won't tell you cuz every time I've asked when the past I have asked them what did I do and they said we can't tell you and I said well if you can't tell me then I cannot correct this Behavior

The client has been made a false accusation against me , as a sexual abuse by the application, the ride was in cash and to not pay the ride and to not have any problems, she has made this accusation, it was also another client in the car and not the one that has been ordered, it was another girl in the car and another girl has been order the ride , they was friends .
Now the don’t know why hat to do to activate again my account

I am not sure if anyone else had this issue. I drive a EV and I had 2 people reported I was speeding. I find myself now telling riders look I an not speeding is a EV and it may feel like I am speeding look at the dash.
So, you didn't follow ONE traffic law? Or you didn't make a Full Stop at a stop sign? Or you went 52 in a 45? OOOOHHH, what a bad driver that you are! You should be Deactivated. Not that I drive recklessly, but who drives exactly the speed limit all of the time? I have had passengers complain to me about other drivers driving too slowly, more than once, and as a passenger myself, I don't want a driver that drives too slowly either. Because you went 52 in a 45 for a bit, that is a reason to deactivate someone? First, aren't we INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS? I have had a lot of compliments on my driving - I don't zoom around town - but I don't drive like a scared immigrant or an old man either, and I get a lot of compliments, because I AM A GOOD DRIVER. If another car is driving too slowly, I will pass them, because I AM A GOOD DRIVER, I know if I was a passenger and the driver was too scared or goody two shoes to pass a slow driver, then I would be very upset. Don't drive recklessly but drive like a Man!! Take some control out there! Plus, no matter if you are a 5 Star, these companies will find a reason to get rid of you anyways!!! Or the computer will do it. Does a human actually look at your record, look at the complaint? Aren't a lot of these Deactivations done by a computer anyways? Thus, why there are so many unnecessary Deactivations? Don't try too hard, just like with a regular job, you can work a lot, do a good job, and they'll still lay you off/fire you anyways. Have a second gig/job ready as a backup, that's really all that you can do.

NYC I had DEACTIVATED from uber .driving drink Or drowsy . It's been 3 months and Lyft is SUPER SLOWWWW 6 HOURS other day for $86 . . I just did my 6 hour class to renew my TLC licence and found out the black car fund they can help . I'll go back tomorrow (if we broke we don't have $70 to pay and its not even 100% we get back job ) it should be like $20 and you take $50 after we back working .
